Here we see the lovely Katie Buggs modeling the prototype for a child’s Turtle or Lady Bug costume.  This project was a study on the pattern and materials.  The finished shell would have had web backpack straps and belt with quick release buckles that would have been hidden under Velcro flap covered slits and tucks in the outer costume layer

Mask an old calf skin boot color $0.00
Mask Band part of an old suspender $0.00
Purple bootlace from a pair of disco skates $0.00
Red Leather Shell left over from an unknown upholstery project $0.00
White leather spots left over from repairs on a thigh high stripper boot $0.00
