Hey guys, aside from DDR, what other games do they have at the convention?  I am been looking EVERYWHERE for a Para Para machine but there don't seem to be any around.  I have found Dance Maniax, Guitar Freaks, and Drum Mania so those have satisfied me but, do they have Para Para at the convention 'cause that would be awesome!

We have a PS/2 Para Para setup every year but if someone can give me a lead on a machine I will do my best to get one.  The only problem is that you will have to fight me to get on it.  =^.^=  I love that game.

does any one know if playing dd with an eye toy is anything like para para? i've seen the option on extream but as i dont have a eye toy i don't know...

Heheh. The nearest Para Para Paradise machine is a 2nd mix at the Narrows Bowling Alley in Tacoma, WA.

You can perform the para para dance routines in the game by learning from the videos, which are available for download at http://www.paraparaonline.com/media/video/ps2.php (they're kinda low-quality, though D: )

Like, practice para para dance routines? Omg, I've been looking for people in the area who are interested in para dancing. :'( Too bad I'm leaving in about a month. Do you do routines outside of the game? That's where it's at :D

I went to the panel last year and it was fun. I like the routines better than the game. My arm strength has gotten better since then.

Where do you get other videos other than that site?

I know youtube.com is a good resource for para para. You can also find club and original routines filmed by fan paralists at sites such as www.para2mahou.com :) You can order DVDs/VCDs at www.yesasia.com or www.CDjapan.com (I believe that's the site). Buying VCDs: a no-brainer, they run under 20 bucks each last I checked and run on most DVD players (as well your CD-ROM drive on your PC if you have the free program VLC :D)

If I ever meet you, I have nearly the whole Para Para Paradise video series and some others, and would be more than happy to hook you up.
