BESM Tristat
« on: January 23, 2006, 12:31:59 am »
I'm thinking of running a BESM tristat game at Kumoricon '06. This ofcourse depends on how many people might be interested and what the con schedual looks like. If your interested post what kind of setting you'd like to see.
 Thanks.

I just pre-ordered the third ed. BESM rules, and should have them by mid-April.  Not soon enough for GameStorm but plenty of time for this con.

Pls pencil me into one of your game slots.  (Are you going to run 2nd. ed. or 3rd.?)

I'm doing BESM Second Revised, the blue book. I don't ahve the green Second ed., and d20 feels too much like D&D for me to enjoy it as a seperate system. Nothing wrong with D&D though. So what game setting would you prefere to see? I've got something written up already, but there's always a few ideas floating around that I can expand on.

I dunno what setting Mr_Phelps is using, but I know the game I'll be running this year will be the encore of the Mecha game I ran in 2004... I also know that the Magical Girl game last year had a full table (with 9 characters in play), so that may be one setting to consider.

PezCat
Sixty pounds lighter, just as awesome.
2K3-2K7: Various staff, primarily RPGs and Registration
2K12: God only knows...

=^..^=

A friend and I are plotting out a BESM campaign world called Mad Mech it takes place in the waistbands of a devastated USA.  A plague has weakened all the males and put them into a coma.   All the mech Pilot girls are constantly scrounging for parts especially the ones made by made by Datsumechs and Toyotron.  Of course the team has a mascot little boy who escaped the plague and the only man not affected is the evil Barron Bish who is in a hermetically sealed battle suit but all the pilot girls think he looks to dreamy to really be evil.

We are also working on a Tabletop Strategy war game with figures titled Tacttentacles but I don’t think I’m gonna go into that one now

I'll be running a Nerima Wrecking Crew (Ranma 1/2) game with pre-genned characters.  The players will be working on putting the smack-down on another of Happosai's evil plots.

An unfortunate turn of events has occured for the BESM game I was planning. The spiral with all my notes has gone missing. I've been looking for it for some time now, but haven't found it yet. As of now I'm probably not going to run a BESM game at the con. If I find the spiral this will probably change. Sorry everyone.

I am sorry to hear it. I could fill in with a BESm game of my own if I can make it to the convention, but I don't know that for sure yet.

[Slayers: Miracle in Xoana

Sequel to Slayers TRY. The group has been invited by Pontiff-queen martina of Xoana to attend the birth of her first child. To help assuage the mental agony brought on by the thought of Martina breeding, she has promised Lina, Gourry, amelia and Zelgadis that "your greatest need will finally be met". What does the heavily-pregnant but still notally tucking futs Prophetess of Zoamelgustar mean by this? What lies in store for our Intrepid Heroines? And why is the one person Lina Inverse least wants to meet again in for the shock of her life?

Characters provided. Room for six players, but works best with five. Combat-light until the end, heavy emphasis on role-playing and flexibility. Familiarity with Slayers essential, personal maturity helpful. Set aside four hours. Time and place TBD.
