Hello! :3 This is for the cosplay group from the show/manga Azumanga Daioh. Please post if you are intrested in joining the group. n_n
Pocky Club members are also asked to join in on the group.

Teacher 3: Kimura sensei (the weird pervert teacher)

The respectable one would be the second teacher right?

I wanna be in the group too!

Yomi is my all time favorite in Azumanga. I loved her personality, and I thought she was really cute. I also really liked Osaka, especially at the beginning. She didn't seem overly stupid at first, just weird and different, with a unique sort of intelligence.

I really really want to make an Otousan hat. You know, like the dark orange kitty hat?

^_^ Yeah. My friend has a hat like that and she wears it to school. It's more red than orange though...

That'd be cool, although a guy dressed as Yomi would be kinda odd, at least in other people's eyes. I personally wouldn't mind though.

Also, I haven't seen Azumanga Daio since like the end of last year.

I don't recognize that joke, was that joke in the dubbed version? I never saw the dubbed version.

I think I'd be better off as Ritsu from Fruits Basket, or Yuki from Gravi. ^_^ I'd fit the look a lot better.

Well this Kimura sensei is going to be 5 foot 6.

I highly doubt that we're going to have the proper scale for everyone.
My suggestion is that everyone show up with uniforms that fit and then you pick hairstyles based on who fits where!

Funny story. My girlfriend is two inches taller than me, 5'8", and she wants to wear a Chiyo Penguin costume if shecould get one her size.
Imagine, a ChiyoPen bigger than Fathercat!

My hair is gonna be long and blond... and I have maroon-framed glasses, so i thought that Yomi would be best.

Oh. Funny story. I was on the phone with my friend and my mother called me for dinner. I ran to the door and I opened it... on my face. It slamed into my glasses and... they broke! xD

I need to get a good picture of me with short hair, it's poofy. I'm sure it'll spike up well though. I need to buy a dark green tank top somewhere. I'd love to get that crazy swimsuit though.

Yes, if you have a costume already please post it so we can see! I know that some award winners at Kumoricon '03 were AD cosplayers! Chiyo returned in '05 as the girl from Jungle no *wordican'tremember*.

I'm embarrassed that I don't know any of their names.

OOMMGGGG. I love that show. ._. I saw an eppisode of it from the Newtype USA DVD. xD I couldn't stop laughing... it was as good as Cromarite Highschool and AD.

i do have a digital camera that i can barrow but its the geting it online thing thats hard, the color was wrong but big guy from yhe forums reconized me from the costume at jan meeting
