Pokemon Origins

To those who may or may not know Pokémon Origins is a retelling of the original Red and Blue (Red and Green in Japan). Only 4 episodes were made, and stays true to the original games. So what do you think of it, and should it be viewable at Kumoricon next year?

It's ok. Far too rushed, even with the time constraints. The episode with Giovanni especially was run through too quickly, with his change of heart coming out of nowhere (and making no canon sense since we know now that he had no intention of doing anything else and simply ran off to get stronger and run the team again).

Though holy crap his VA is the one I wanted the main show to get for Ghetsis so it's a bit strange to hear him afterwards. Ah well.

From what the internet had said about Origins, I was expecting it to be a lot darker, but it really wasn't. People made so much about the Charmander vs Squirtle battle and it was nothing.

Overall though I hope they do this with the other games.

(Oh yeah, and how the heck does someone kill a Marowak with a mag rod? The electricity would be a hinderance, and that rod could barely bruise a human being, much less a tiny tank, much less KILL a tiny tank.)
