Well, I will be Koto from Yu Yu Hakusho for sure. But usually it comes down to heat or money if I will do a different one. If I ever get a cooler day (under 75 degrees), I will be Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Cosplay I dream about doing: Angewomon
Doubtful I will though. I would need my fiance to be Angemon and I doubt we could afford to do them or have the know how to make them.

Scar from Full Metal Alchemist. This one would require me too have a copy of the song that plays every time he's going to attack. I would LOVE to play that song and walk up behind an Edward cosplayer. *taps on shoulder* "Edwaaaard...."

I don't understand the system here....It looks like a "yay or nay" thread, but if you had "nay" cosplays, what means you weren't cosplaying them or planning to, so there wouldn't be anything in that list..Just a little lost here..

Watching Free! a couple days before the con AND becoming a big fan for it, I want to cosplay ED!Haru. I wanna make his desert outfit and everything. Well, I have a year to do that x)

Princess Peach.  (Not sure which version but open to suggestions. )  I promised my nieces if they would be my toads, I would be princess peach.

Possibly Saeko from high school of the dead.  Semi-modest apron version.  If I can convince myself I'll be comfortable in that cosplay.

Haruhi Suzumiya the version where she wears a black jacket in one of the intros.

Ayla from Chrono Trigger.   If I can convince myself I'll be comfortable in that cosplay.


My Android 18 was a lot of fun so I might do her again. 


Also going to Temari from Naruto...not the shippuden but the one right after it.  Not the scarf version either.

Wow? I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who already knows what they want to do next year. Woot!!
I feel like it's already 2014. Like after Con the year is over. Con is my new years.
Anyways, I'm thinking easier and comfortable cosplays this year. As in, no wings or eye patches. Or wigs >;3 Lucky for me.
In no specific order yet (because my bestie and I have yet to decide):
Syo Kurusu from Uta no Prince sama (the summer uniform ver.) my friend being Haruka Nanami
Hunny senpai (Again, because all the ladies love me) my friend being Tamaki Suoh
aaand
Alois Trancy (because booty shorts. Mainly shorts, but the shorter the better) my friend being Ciel Phantomhive (second try, her first cosplay was Ciel and she wants to redeem herself as a better Ciel next year)
I think I won't be AS uncomfortable as I was this year because 1) no wig 2) less clothing 3) less clothing.
If anybody else is going from any of those anime's we should definitely meet up!

I'm hoping in the time it takes until Kumoricon next year, that I am able to find a job so I can start putting them together. The first thing I plan on doing is selling some of my stuff to help pay for it.


I am rather excited for these cosplays.

I should start construction on a fairly complex Hawkeye cosplay for ECCC, so if I'm too burned out to sew after that, then that's what I'll be.
And at the very least, I have an almost complete Jubilee for Rose City Comic Con.

For sure I will have my Mahou Shojo outfit of Kyoko Sakura from Madoka Magika. Shorts for crossplay + me being me = horrible times..
I am making K-con my "summer friendly cosplay"-con


My other cosplays I hope to have are:
-Fate Testarossa (I will have it for sure, but wearing it, idk..It has a cape and really long pigtails that could get really hot.
-Sailor-V(Codename: Sailor-V, not Sailor Venus version) if I can. I've been meaning to for a LONG time..
-Maybe Tohou from the Pokemon black&white games (female trainer, also known as Hilda) if I can learn correct crossplay technique..
No idea other then that for this con..I have other cosplays planned but none of the others are ones I'd dare wear in that heat ever..

Imma do Tamaki next year (improved makeup, maybe MAYBE will buy a new jacket, darker shade of blue), Hatsune Miku (Black vow; DEFINITELY BRINGING A FAN), Haruka Nanami (may buy a new wig :I i think i broke my other one how do i even break a wig why did this occur ;-;), and Ciel! Well most that was 1) a bad cosplay in general that was really badly made and I just couldn't stand touching it..Let alone keeping it on..and 2) a heel broke on my boot, which started the "I'm pissed" part of the weekend, then I couldn't wear the cosplay because of "crossplay issues" so yea..But next year I will have beter cosplays that I will make sure will work..Another part was because it was just too hot and humid for me all weekend. But thank you for caring.

Jeez, your Kumoricon was worse than I imagined. My only real problems, were as follows;
1. The day zero all cosplays welcome photo shoot at 7:30 pm, was a bust.
2. I only sang once in the karaoke room (I won't be posting that video to YouTube. It was full of failure [technical difficulties]).
3. Tasteless and unfunny jokes in the Cosplay Contest.
4. Standing in long lines (I have some disabilities, which make standing in line, for long periods of time, VERY tiring).
5. Heat and humidity.

*sits in a corner and starts bawling, VERY LOUDLY*

Aww thanks Yea I think next year will be better because I will have more weather appropriate cosplays, as well as learning to do crossplay stuff way better by then.

Jeez, your Kumoricon was worse than I imagined. My only real problems, were as follows;
1. The day zero all cosplays welcome photo shoot at 7:30 pm, was a bust.

1. That's because the person running that, was super late to everything..Nothing went right for her time wise..I text her and talk to her quite a bit so she was kinda telling me..
2. I'm sorry about that. That's horrible..
3. Yea....that seems to be the "thing" within the community now..It's annoying..
4. Yea..Subway can kiss my butt..I will NOT go there for a damn soda ever again durring con haha I'll walk a half hour to a damn store and get back before I would get trough that line..
5. Yep that's why I had all dresses and shorts..Other then my guy stuff which was a shirt and slacks..Nothing too hot to wear..

I'm the same way. As soon as I got home from Kumoricon, I went in the house and cried for about 30 to 45 minutes, because I knew Kumoricon had ended for another year. To make matters worse, I was crying so loudly, that it upset my dad and he yelled at me. IT'S LIKE THAT STUPID ******* *******, HAD NO SYMPATHY FOR ME, WHATSOEVER!!!!!!

Reading your post, makes me feel kinda sad, for Sailor-Jeimi. She had a rough Kumoricon 2013.

Well most that was 1) a bad cosplay in general that was really badly made and I just couldn't stand touching it..Let alone keeping it on..and 2) a heel broke on my boot, which started the "I'm pissed" part of the weekend, then I couldn't wear the cosplay because of "crossplay issues" so yea..But next year I will have beter cosplays that I will make sure will work..Another part was because it was just too hot and humid for me all weekend. But thank you for caring.

Jeez, your Kumoricon was worse than I imagined. My only real problems, were as follows;
1. The day zero all cosplays welcome photo shoot at 7:30 pm, was a bust.
2. I only sang once in the karaoke room (I won't be posting that video to YouTube. It was full of failure [technical difficulties]).
3. Tasteless and unfunny jokes in the Cosplay Contest.
4. Standing in long lines (I have some disabilities, which make standing in line, for long periods of time, VERY tiring).
5. Heat and humidity.

awe that sucks and i was upset about being forced to pack and leave.

I'm the same way. As soon as I got home from Kumoricon, I went in the house and cried for about 30 to 45 minutes, because I knew Kumoricon had ended for another year. To make matters worse, I was crying so loudly, that it upset my dad and he yelled at me. IT'S LIKE THAT STUPID ******* *******, HAD NO SYMPATHY FOR ME, WHATSOEVER!!!!!!

Awe I want to hug you now and I would just cry harder if my dad yelled at me..

Yay, finally finalized my Kumo 2014 plans.
Day 0 will be either Swag!Madoka or Stocking.
Day 1 will be Angel Stocking all day!
Day 2 will be Angel Stocking in the morning, and I will change into Warrior! Vanellope von Schweetz at night, with a big Warrior Disney group, or vice versa.
Day 3 I have a big Sonic the Hedgehog cosplay group, and I will be cosplaying Tails the Fox all day... this will be a nightmare, this cosplay has like 5 layers and a SCARF, so it's horribly hot to wear.
Day 4 will probably be Stocking, but if my Steven Universe group comes through, I'll be Amethyst.

Sounds like there will be a lot of cool cosplays this year. :O I'm looking forward to having four full days to look at all of them!

I know for sure that I'm going to cosplay Fo from D.Gray-Man (modified so it's wearable xD), and it's in progress. She's one of my favorite characters and it should be perfect for warm weather, so I'm excited!

I'm also going to bring an Attack on Titan cosplay, though I'm still deciding between Hanji and Sasha. My hair looks closer to Sasha's, but I also love wearing my glasses and the color yellow, which is making me gravitate more toward Hanji.

Aside from that I'm still deciding since I have to decide which cosplays I have room to bring, but I'll probably also be Luka from Vocaloid and Ritsu from UTAU to keep the costumes warm-weather-friendly.
