For 2014, I plan on cosplaying the 2014 Kumoricon mascot.

Anyone else thinking (already) about what they're going to wear in 2014?

A little early to know for sure, but I know I want to have some good ones. I know I'll be bringing Kyoko Sakura, this year was a bust for her because I looked bad in the street clothes version so I'll get the other outfit.

On to what I'd like to have but may not have in time..in no order..
-Serenade (Eternal Sonata)
-Rizelea (Trinity Universe)
-Sailor-V (Codename: Sailor-V)
-Shiki Misaki (The World Ends With You)

There are others but yea that's 5 I want to Naw sure to finish.

My group has already set ours up for next year.

Arachne, Medusa, Angela, Mifune, Blair, Mizune, Free (Soul Eater)

Tsubaki, Death the Kid, Maka, Soul, Liz, Patti, Sid (Soul Eater)

Zelda, Ganandorf (WindWaker) Iron Knuckle, Zelda (OOT) Zelda, Midna (Twilight Princess), Deku Princess (Majora's Mask)

Mario, Peach, Yoshi? (Mario Bros), Crona, Ragnorok (Soul Eater)

At least, that's as much as we have set up for each of the days next year.

I'm going to again be Maes Hughes with Elisia Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist and a picture frame prop. Not sure about the entire con, but that cosplay seemed to get a lot of attention this year. I'm hoping there's an FMA photo shoot too. I was kinda sad when I found out there wasn't one.

I've got plans for next year~
Most definite one I'll be doing is Mileena from Mortal Kombat 2. I'll be highly focused on making everything perfect, especially those wicked teeth.

I honestly don't know if I might be able to make the next 2 Kumoricons, since I'm going to be doing a 18-24 month leadership internship for my job, which requires me to travel all over the country. But if they do allow me to take Labor Day weekend off (and if I actually get to have time to work on my cosplays)....

I'd be cosplaying:
Moogle Mascot (I can't just cast this guy aside, it was way too big a hit!), probably add more air-conditioning and improve my field of vision.
Raincoat Killer from Deadly Premonition.
(Tentative) Male version of Alice's Late, but Lucky dress from Madness Returns...Just trading the skirt for slacks of similar design.
(Tentative) Asbel Lhant from Tales of Graces f, complete with the freaky Lambda eye.
(Tentative) Oliver from Ni no Kuni
(Tentative) Rannie the Thief from Dragon's Crown

Possibly Saeko from high school of the dead. Semi-modest apron version.

Haruhi Suzumiya the version where she wears a black jacket in one of the intros.

Kumoricon 2014 Mascot (She's just too cute to pass up!!)

Soccer uniform Hitsugaya (It'll be a cool outfit perfect for summertime weather)

DAK Prussia (Another cool uniform that's completely finished)

Chessverse Prussia (This'll be my contest entry for the year. It's really intricate and even has an ax to go with it!!)

My Android 18 was a lot of fun so I might do her again. Also going to Temari from Naruto...not the shippuden but the one right after it. Not the scarf version either.

I decided on day 1 while waiting in line for Chris Sabat's signature and talking to some Lee lovers in line, that I will most likely try a Fem. Rock Lee (from Naruto) cosplay. Can't wait to draw in those eyebrows!

2014 is kinda iffy for me considering it'll be my first year working to earn some actual $$, so I'm hoping I'll get Labor Day off, so that way I can be assured that I'll have the time to make a Bellossom cosplay from Pokemon

Maybe I'll alternate between Bellossom and the Undertaker from Black Butler (for one panel that I could host in the evening).......or Nekozawa (Ouran High School Host Club)

But, I plan to work really hard on my cosplay of Emily Wyatt from Deadly Premonition; maybe even a cyberpunk one, if the budget's good.

I more have plans for Sakuracon right now, but I figure I'll probably be wearing them to Kumo as well.
I'm planning on King Candy from Sugar Rush, Mad Madam Mim from Sword in the Stone and Aang from Avatar.
I am also working on upgrading Ice King and my Monochrome Doll. And I'll probably be doing more original stuff here and there as well ^^

Oof.. This is an update for my last post from September..

This year I've been focusing on Prussia from Hetalia.

DAK Prussia is still a go for Kumoricon 2014 and a few events this summer.

WWII American Prussia was worn to a Leavenworth, WA trip and at Sakura Con 2014.

Teutonic Knight Prussia was worn at Sakura Con.

Austrian Succession is my huge focus right now and I'm planning on entering that for the cosplay contest.

Counting sheep and Cardverse Prussia are for Kumoricon Day 0 and one of the other days and nighttime use.

Duchy Prussia is a new costume that I have planned for later this year (Hopefully for Hetalia Day) to go with my girlfriend's Hungary from the same time period.

My list always changes up until two weeks out from the con, and then I wait for the weather report before I decide who to pack.

Right now I'm looking at these to bring:
Roxas (KH2)
Yuna (FFX)
Yuna (FFX-2) gunner and/or songstress
Emil (Tales of Symphonia)
Kagamine Len (Vocaloid)
Neku (TWEWY)
Ciel Phantomhive (Kuroshitsuji)

I have a few others, but a lot on that list need work and tweaks and Len needs to be made entirely- I have nothing started on him.

I was planning to go J from Heat Guy J this year, which was postponed last year due to finances, but it looks like J will end up being pushed back yet another year. I've been working on a Jedi costume and it's taken way longer than I ever thought it would and I just don't think that I'll have time for J... again...

So, assuming I can actually swing KumoriCon this year, I'll probably just bring my Jedi that is heavily influenced by Japanese traditional wear...
