Random Dress up contest?
How about it I mean c'on how cool would that be? See people wearing the most random things that you wouldn't normally wear...
Though I could ware anything at any random moment HAHA :P

I think it would be a fun cool thing to do for people who don't cosplay any ^^d

I kind of did that on Sunday night

I grabbed any sort of anime thing randomly put it on and wore a sign that said "I'm A Very Confused Narutard"

Just because I'm lazy and random. I made threw that outfit together in 3 minutes or less.

I think that it was fine were it was... in the contest section. Seeing how in the title is said "Random Dress up Contest".

I think Gus was trying to be silly, not mean or overbearing. Let's not take it in that direction, or this thread will be locked instead of moved. Sorry, but "netiquette" is officially required.  Play nice, please.

He is correct, however. The contest section of the forums is there to post official con event rules and threads pertaining to the con endorsed/ affiliated contests. i.e. Karaoke, AMV, Cosplay, etc. You wouldn't necessarily know that as a poster. We are trying to get unified set of posting rules together, so that posters have a better grasp on how and why things are organized the way they are.  Until then, that's where the mods and admins come in - to keep things neat and accessible, moving threads on occasion, and yes, sometimes locking them.

Anyway, if you would like your contest to be officially recognized, you can speak with the Programming Director at the next general meeting. Then this 'contest' would fall into the Contest area of the forums. We could move the thread back then, if it is still alive and kicking.

P.S. Moderators respond much better to suggestions than to bludgeoning. Please respect the incredible amount of time and effort that goes into reading each and every little post on this site, and respect the people who volunteer their time to take care of you.

on subject random dress up for the sunday meeting (don't know if can go or not) for us could  be just wearing normal cloths i don't think i ever have infont of kumoricon peoples (my lulu cosplay was so good didn't want to wear anything else that weekend)
