So I'm thinking of making a Bleach Captains Panel. I want to do either a panel with just Bleach captains, or with the Shinigami Women's Association. I want to just see if anyone who falls into this category is interested before I set anything in stone. Let me know, and I'll let you know what I'm thinking of doing for the panel.

I think this would be a cool idea, never seen any real bleach panels in general, and your idea of doing the captain's or SWA sounds cool :3 would you think it is more like a free for all on people who show up and discussions and such are improve? Or are you thinking of having set people for each person, and planned dialogue?

@ 7bijou7 It's going to be a bit of both. Like I said, it'll depend on what people I can get to come for the panel as to how scripted it'll be.

@ superjaz- yes, i would count urahara as a captain

i know it's pretty early, but i'm in school so i would like to have plenty of time to plan it. i also wanted to see if anyone was even interested, i know bleach isn't exactly the newest most popular thing to watch.

ok, so i know what i wanna do, and for it to work i need at least 4 other captains and someone to play a member of the punishment squad.....

and yeah, just popping it to say hi would work for it too (especially if ur playing one of the more.....flaky captains)

Also do you want me in me Old (long hair captain), Middle (school outfit), or New outfit (Time skip)? I have all three

I hope it's okay if my good-for-nothing-except-drinking-and-sleeping lieutenant comes with me. It's the only way I can keep her out of trouble at something like this.. Other than simply sedating her, but Unohana frowns on that.

(just came up with a brilliant part for her to have.... now to find that sake bottle....) (plz note, totally fell out of character there, as Soi Fon would never say "omg yes" and only use "awesome" if it was for sarcasm)

Lucky for all of us (Mostly just Matsumoto) that I'm in a ceramics class, so making that sake bottle (And matching cup) will be really easy.

awesome! lemme know when/if it's a for sure and i'll add him to the list. i'm so glad so many people other than me r getting into this, i was afraid bleach was kinda dead. (ps- already submitted the paperwork, just waiting to hear back)

This is bit random, but I think it would be fitting if there were (Fake) flowers for each division on the table, or in vases on the captain's table. Well, maybe not all thirteen flowers, but just those for the captains present.

it's a cool idea. unfortunately i'm a broke college student, and some of those flowers would be harder to find (like a pasque flower).

of course! i've got a rough script already outlined, and the clips and fun stuff i wanna use, but nothing definitive until i get done with classes for the quarter. we should wait til after they announce who's getting a panel until we meet up too. (though lets be honest, they will choose us cause who wants so many bleach captains mad at you?)

I was able to track down each of the current captain's flowers, so I was wondering if it would be better to go with a minimalist ikebana approach (What am I thinking? I'm Hitsugaya-taichou, not Unohana!) or go with a more modern look? I could do either one.

What would this panel be about? Is it some sort of acting thing, or chatting about Bleach, or what?

I have a Sajin Komamura outfit I could wear. It's not the greatest, and it's something I purchased a while back, but I have spruced it up a little bit. I just need to make sure it still fits after I've lost weight (and I'd probably need to take in a few things that will probably be too big).

That's assuming I'll be able to make it. I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be able to swing KumoriCon after going to the Star Wars Celebration VI.

sorry i havent been on, school was crazy there for a while.
so to answer/comment on a few things....
1. i'm nixing the flowers guys. what's i'm going for is an official looking captains meeting. gunna b complete with a backdrop we're making using old sheets and paint.
2. to answer the "what is it about" question that we're gunna inevitably get a lot of: it's a meeting that the captains r having to debrief after everything that happened with aizen. it's gunna b a lot of talk/banter that is loosly scripted (because i'm an improv-type of girl). the backround to it is that Soi Fong is running the meeting because Captain Yamamoto is still resting after the whole ordeal (or something like that), she's called together the current/past captains of the 13 court guard squads to not only go over what happened, but to talk to them about how ichigo/urahara had to show up and save them. it'll b complete with short clips from the anime here and there to illustrate points.

so there u have it. i think i answered the question. don't wanna give away EVERYTHING (except to those who r guna help with the panel, which we will do a meet up about this after school is out for the summer)
