Hey guys! It's been a while since we've done a group shoot. And with the leaves changing, I thought it would be the perfect time to plan the next one!

When: November 19th
Time: 11am (show up whenever you want)
Where: Director Park, Portland
Who: Anyone who wants pictures or wants to take pics

And note, that the South Park Blocks are closed b/c of Occupy Portland, so we will either stay around the Director Park area (Library, maybe Pioneer Square), and if we want we can move to another park by the MAX since we will be in the free zone.

The waterfront is good. I personally like Holliday Park b/c there are trees there that are very easy to climb. Other ideas are welcome.

I'd love to hear what cosplays people are thinking about wearing!

The 25th, or a Sunday other than the 20th works for me.

I'd do the 19th if I wasn't worried that I'd get done with my other event and arrive downtown so late. It usually goes from about noon to 3 or 4.

I now have Luigi, or The Great Saiyaman as cosplays I can use, or even the OC I'd be wearing on the 19th.

The 19th would probably work. I don't know when my cast party starts, so I'm not sure. But I'll keep it up there.
If that doesn't work, is there another date that works?

I will like to say that it would be great if this happened after next week just because I'm sure my parents won't let me go to a photoshoot so I can get caught up in my classes

That'd be wonderful if people could bring cameras. Tom Good will be coming, but it's always nice to get some funny pictures as well, and even just pics from other people.

So, planning on meeting at Director Park. We will probably move. So get ideas of places you might wanna go, especially for your character.

Ideas for places:
Pioneer Square, South Park Blocks, Library, Pioneer Mall (especially if it rains).

Also, just so people know. For now, we'll still be meeting at Director Park, but b/c Occupy Portland are derps, the park is closed. So I figured we would find another park, even if we had to ride the MAX to Holladay Park by Lloyd, since Max is free up to there. But that's only if the weather is nice enough and we actually wanna go shoot in a park.

Another update, the final date is set to the 19th. Next poll is voting on starting time

I'd go in a cosplay, but it's too cold outside........I will take pictures, just depends on how many people are gonna show up. So it's at Pioneer Square, right?

3. I have to take the max which would have me getting off near the protestors
4. I Value my life

I would rather be safe than sorry, It is close to Christmas and I would not want anything to happen to me that would upset my friends or family.

The protestors have gotten VERY Violent. I have first hand experience with this. Occupy Wallstreet has cut off all connections with Occupy Portland, as it's supposed to be non-violent protest.

Excuse me, but i have been down there several times, and not once have the protestors been violent. The news has been over reacting a lot of what has gone on down there. And the majority of the protestors have turned any and all even slightly violent members over to the police. I myself turned over three people who had tried to attack a man who had called the protestors sinners. The protestors want a peaceful protest. And anyone who claims violence in the name of Occupy Portland is not part of the movement. They are looking for someone to blame to get away with whatever they have done. I take great offence to you thinking that all the protestors are violent. My friends and family are down there.

I know people in the movement and they are peaceful people
also if things get out of hand we can leave before things really get bad
That's what my mom told me when I was worried to go to the demonstration in the beginning

Its all about how you handle yourself in the group. If you go into a large group expecting a fight to break out, then you will find a fight in every push or shove.

Kay guys I know you're worried. But there really is no danger. Besides, on the MAX, if you get off at Library/Galleria, that stop is a lot closer to the park.
But if people don't want to go, then don't. I'm not going to force anything.

Also, enough talk about the protesting, for it is off topic for the most part. Unless there is news about them overrunning Director Park or becoming violent where it is dangerous (which is unlikely), then I don't want to see it here. Thanks.

So some updates~
It's supposed to be in the 30's, so please dress warmly as much as possible. Also, expect rain and possibly snow! The snow wont stick, so we wont have to worry about transportation being down.

This is a photoshoot, but that doesn't mean you have to be in cosplay. There are a few people who are actually just going as themselves to hang out and get some pics of them out of cosplay. And that is perfectly fine.

We are meeting around 11. Meaning I'll be showing up around then and then people can just come whenever. I will be my original Cheshire Cat, so look for black and purple. And we will end whenever people want to leave.
