It wasn't heavy but it was very hard to move in, and you can't really sit in the ground to easily in it because of the shorts. Also, too much strain on the shawl and it would snap open one. Good thing there were three snaps to that thing

White Mage Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2 and was made for me by my friends aunt. The headband and beads I made weren't very good, but I fixed it for the times I wore it after K'Con 2008, and also lost some weight before wearing it again since I was overweight at the time. Here's one of the first pics I ever took in it though. XD

I love a lot of mine, but I will have to say my Favorite is Sailor Luna because I've loved Sailor Moon forever! and I love PGSM a little more than the original and Luna is one of my favorite characters from the series. The costume is just super cute as well.

Day 6: Your favorite cosplay

I'd have to say Princess Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoire Chronicle. I've wanted to do a cosplay of her Dream Dress from the beginning (and end) of the manga since I first read it, and this year I finally got to. (we have to fix the dress before next year, since some parts of it broke when I was wearing it, and we had to safety-pin it back together, but it was really great when I did wear it.

These, for me at least, change all the time but some that I think are possible that have been dream cosplays would be: Tio from Grandia II, Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4, Hikaru or Kaoru from Ouran High School Host Club, and some character from .hack//G.U (videogame series).

My dream cosplay (that costs way too much, is practically impossible without being a rocket scientist to actually make, and would be too heavy to wear even if we did make it) would be Alphonse Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. In the armor....which I would be able to walk around in, store stuff in my chest, and even have an Ed cosplayer climb inside and hand out random candy/plushie cats while I was walking around. (or hide in my armor and close the door if they saw crazed fangirls/roy mustang coming)

Wear cosplay that's too revealing. I'm not so much self-conscious about my looks as I am being stared at, or feeling like I'm being stared at, so being covered up enough cuts down that anxiety. That probably explains why I tend to prefer crossplay...

Hmm. Not sure I have one. Most of my cosplays have wigs...but most cosplays have wigs. I don't think it counts.

My female cosplays are...soft and cute types? no, wait. I also cosplay Elena...(and in the future, Karin).
My male characters are awesome, but kind of obnoxious? no, wait. Yumeji is awesome, but not really obnoxious. (same goes for my dream cosplay, alphonse)

this is HARD. Can I just skip this one and come back later?

Oh, I've got one! All my cosplays are adorables (in their own way). Even the tsundere ones.

I guess the biggest thing they all have in common is showing skin (namely the stomach and upper thigh region) And very strange, defy gravity hair in weird colors, or just black. I've only used a wig twice, only if I absolutely have to also because if it can be done with my real hair accurately, it will be done with my real hair! lol.

Procrastinating. Starting and stopping (I'll work on something a little bit, and then put it away, lose the pieces I need to finish, come back a month later, panic, buy new pieces, and work on it a little more). Oh, and singing or listening to music does help with concentrating.

The fact that nature made me so 'well endowed' that I need to either spend the price of a cosplay on a binding shirt or risk breaking another rib to bind down to the point where you can't tell I have girlparts. Normally I just wear a bra that's several sizes too small and ignore the hecklers. But it still frustrates me.

Day 15: Your least favourite thing about cosplay.

The fact it makes you really hot and uncomfortable. (Some cosplays do have a comfy factor to them though.) I went as Suigintou from Rozen Maiden during Kumoricon 2010 and I was dieing from heat. I went through about 3 refills of my water bottle, had a fan on with me at all times, and I ended up taking my wig off once in a while due to my hair drenching with sweat. I am highly tempted to sell off that cosplay...

Another thing I dislike about cosplay is more of my body's fault. It's so off and the proportions are just horrid. My waist is fine, I do have alittle bit of a chub, but it's my chest. I am seriously flat chested, but I have the most broad chest and shoulders. It's hard finding a dress that actually fits me from the chest up... -__-

The elitest jerks that make people that do a decent job feel like **** because it isn't "perfect" or completely "accurate". I've often felt like my cosplays, while they were actually fine, were complete crap because some people have such high standards and I feel like I need to meet them; even if I know that it doesn't matter.

I have a horror movie going or some kind of industrial music. Usually it will be two or three friends with us working away. I still think it would have to be the year I cosplayed as wedding Yuna, (at the doubletree lloyd center), and right in the middle of the divider area between the dealer's room and the hotel, Rockstar!Miroku got down on one knee and proposed to me.

Others: Spray hair dye, group cosplays from random a** things, etc.

Myself: When people take a lot of pictures because the costume is revealing and I am a small girl, rather than because they like my costume or even know who I am. And every con at least once every two hours some guys try to pick me up. It's worse if I'm wandering by myself, but last Sakuracon some guy tried to sell me bondage equipment and at the same time a staff member wanted me to come get drunk and/or stoned with him in his hotel, both right in front of three male friends in the smoking section.

My first one is pretty bad (sailor jupiter...sitting on me...not in a fun way) but it's not my worst. I have to say my worst cosplay memory was the year my 'friends' locked me out of my hotel room to force me to stay in a cosplay I hated for most of that Kumoricon, and made me miss both of the photoshoots for the cosplay I had at that time that I liked the most. (I was only allowed to return to my room and change into a different cosplay after the sun had already set, and for someone who switches cosplays whenever one I'm wearing gets too uncomfortable, it was practically torture).

My best cosplay memory would be actually my first convention. My cosplay was lame, but people seem to still like it since I was still apart of the whole cosplay experience.

My worse memory was 2011 kumoricon, I have this one friend who just will not stop flirting with everyone I date and my boyfriend was with us for the con. Later on we ended up broken up for the night (we got back together early morning.) because of her so that wasn't fun being depressed Day 1 night.....

The first year at the Hilton I just couldn't figure out the layout, and so it really ruined my days. If this means -literally- cosplay related then I'd have to say the worst, but at the same time kind of funny, things that has happened to me was when I was in my Near cosplay and someone did a spit take on me...with Coke. Um... Surprisingly Waiter!England was my most comfortable cosplay.I think it's because I never died of heat in it.

Trying to limit myself to one new cosplay per convention in order to save cash, so I'll be re-wearing a lot of stuff. Still not 100% sure of all my plans but here's the general outline for the next year.

-BMO Gijinka (Adventure Time)
-May Lee (King of Fighters... if I decide to still finish that cosplay)
- Not sure what my last costume will be but it'll be something I already have...

I have no idea what's happening for Akicon since I don't generally plan THAT far ahead, but I'll have a new costume for that most likely.

Ummm...probably my Bloody!Kida from Durarara!! I had to make my first official prop for that and I also did some hemming (the closest skill to sewing I have). So yeah.

Various parts of my house, and occasionally friends' houses, before I moved were used for working on cosplay. While I can still go back there to work I also store my cosplays in that house. The mostly end up in closets or drawers.

I only own a total of five wigs. One for Rei, one for Sexy no jutsu Kakashi, one for Paine, one for Android 18 and one for Yukina. I usually use my own hair. If I can use my own hair accurately for the cosplay, I don't see why I shouldn't. It is cheaper and I never care what my hair looks like XD....

My favorite is probably.... Yukina's cause she's so cute. Paine needed work, Kakashi kept frizzing, Rei was a touch too blue, and don't even get me started on the Android 18 wig lol. That wig makes me so angry at time, it will not stay put!
