So, my girlfriend and I are both cosplaying from Resident Evil next year (we've got HUGE plans), and was wondering if anyone else was as well. n.n Just getting started early.

I know that Chan has been takling about possibly going as Jill Valentine, too. IF I were to do someone from this series, it'd probably be the Tyrant from RE1, but I doubt that I'll make the effort.

LadyFiede convinced me to be Wesker's S.T.A.R.S. uniform. It might only be a closet cosplay though, but you should still be able to look forward to a slightly unique take of it.

My only conflict I see in doing this is that the Kefka cosplay I plan on doing has long hair and I am thinking of growing it out since my hair naturally has both Kefka's and Wesker's hair textures... While I would love to keep my hair short for wesker (and convenience) I don't think I could get a wig to look as authentic for Kefka... oh decisions decisions... x_x

Oh, and of course the other conflict on whether I'm actually going to k-con or not just as LadyFiede said... Going to try though.

Now everybody decides to cosplay RE!

I was CVX Claire for Kumori-Con 2011, but seeing as so many people are interested in RE this year, I might bring her back for one day or a half-day if possible. I'm also working on pulling together a Midnight Wesker costume,(I already have most of the components in my closet) but it probably won't be amazingly accurate; Don't get your hopes up.

I know my buddy who was BSAA Jill last year is putting together an RE1 Jill Valentine. I'll see if I can convince my buddies to bring back our Resident Evil costumes for 2012.
(Esp. When my friend who cosplays Ada sees there's a Leon this year!)

Confirmed I am coming to k-con this year. Will be closet cosplaying Wesker.

If there is a photoshoot I hope it is on day 1 because I'm hoping to do final form Kefka from Final Fantasy 6 on day 2 (and probably 3 since odds are my skin will probably still be purple)

So... weird question... would anybody be offended/weirded out if Wesker wore gothic chain pants?

I probably won't do that anyway but just thought I would throw around the idea.

We need to pick a time and day for our photoshoot! I set one up for 2011, but we didn't get many people. What do you guys think of day 1 for a photoshoot? and we can decide on a time too.

Any plans for a photoshoot yet? I was originally planning on doing Wesker half of day 1, but since my boots are 2 sizes too small I'm thinking maybe just on day 3 (oh, and good news is that the purple washes off with soap and water so skin color shouldn't be an issue XD)

I'd still be up for a photoshoot on day 1 but it doesn't seem like there is much interest for RE this year so perhaps day 3 would be better for a photoshoot? Just throwing out ideas. As long as it doesn't interfere with my vocaloid photoshoot on day 1 I'm good. :3

Edit: Great... Now I have How the grinch stole christmas' theme stuck in my head. due to re-reading the 2 sizes too small comment. XD

How about monday at 12pm? If I don't hear anything by the deadline for the photoshoot thread, I'm just gonna say it's official, just like last year. Oh, and in the park again, just like last year.

Sounds good. The only thing I'm missing is the shoulder straps (have the material, just haven't put it together) I might just use my vest to put the magazine pouches on since it is molle capable if I don't have the time to finish the straps.
