WEREWOLF GAME 1 - Delicious Humans.

[Bresslol]

Here's how it works:

11 people play.
2 are werewolves.
During NIGHT portions of the game, they choose to kill (remove from game) a player.
9 people are villagers.
of those 9:
7 are normal villagers.
1 is a seer. They PM the game master during NIGHT portions of a game with the name of a person they'd like to peer at. the GM tells the seer that person's role.
1 is a Mercenary. They may choose to protect any one player during each NIGHT portion by PMing the GM with the person they'd like to protect. If they choose a werewolf, they die instead of the person the werewolves choose to kill. If the werewolves choose to kill that player who was protected, nothing happens.

Each game has two portions:

NIGHT:
During this phase of the game, the players with special roles PM the game master with the following:

Wolves: Who they want to kill. It's a good idea for the wolves to communicate with one another on who they want to kill.
Seer: Which player's role they want to see.
Merc: Which player they are protecting.
Other players: Nothing.

Players have 24 hours to do this. The only players required to PM the GM during this step are the Wolves. The Seer and Merc's actions are encouraged, but optional. IF the wolves fail to PM a kill, they get ONE 24-hour warning for the rest of the game. On a second failure, a wolf automatically dies (I encourage the wolves to communicate if one is not going to be away). If the GM gets all PMs before the 24 hours are up, they may advance the game.

DAY:

The Game Master reveals which player died. That player is out of the game. They may make a humorous dying post if they wish, but may not post in the thread afterwards until the game is declared over.

All remaining players then vote on who they think is a werewolf. They may only cast a vote for one person. They can provide reason if need be. Players have 24 hours to vote. The player with the most votes is 'lynched'. They are out of the game, but may also make a humorous dying post. If players fail to vote, they gat a phantom vote against them the first time, and are auto-lynched the second time.

Once a player is lynched, the game goes to the Night phase again until the game is over.

HOW THE GAME ENDS:
One side must win the game.

How the wolves win: If they kill all of the villagers. If at least one wolf is left, and there is only one villager left, the wolves automatically win.

How the villagers win: If there is no kill during a Night Phase, the villagers have eliminated all of the wolves, and win the game.

Kumoricon 2012 still went on, despite a major apocalyptic event. A major outbreak of lyncanthropia hit Portland, and not may people survived. At this year's con 11 fans only showed up. These dedicated fans are hoping that they can get through the convention with no outbreak issues.

The 11 fans showed up to Opening Ceremonies, which was on day 0, which was odd. Nobody was on stage, but instead, this played over the speakers:

"Welcome, attendees. This is sadly, not Kumoricon. Two of your attendees have lycanthropia. As you know, they must feast on human flesh to survive. These attendees will only feed on you at night. Two of you also have been given powers. One of you, simply put, has a gun. You can protect any attendee you wish at night. One of you also can look into the camera of any hotel room once a night. During each day, you are able to remove one person from the convention via majority vote. Those of you that survive will be taken to a clean zone in Denver where we will provide a house, car, and five million dollars each. All of the doors and windows have been boarded up and barricaded. Good luck."

All of the attendees, scared, decided to go to bed for the night. One of them would not wake up.

They noticed there were only ten people.

They ran to Hopeless Incubus's room to find him in bed, missing his legs.

It was time to take a stand.

Technically, killing can still go on with only one werewolf, and Bresslol may just be messing with our heads when he keeps "wolves" plural, meaning that it still could be Tobias. However, if Bresslol is just posting that bold stuff to be consistent, then it is also possible that Tobias was actually our seer or Merc, which is unfortunate. If Bresslol is going to post this bit every time no matter who dies, this would actually be an excellent tactic to keep us guessing. Though by saying this, I may have given him some ideas.

It could also be the case that Tobias really was an innocent victim...what a shame!

I've played it in person! it is a lot of fun so long as it doesn't get out of control, and in our game though some of the characters are different, like we have the little girl who peeks, the hunter who when he dies gets to shoot one person, the lovers who when the other lover dies kills them self for loss of their mate, the witch who has two potions, one to kill and one to protect, cupid who chooses the lovers, the mayor who gets two votes, and the fortune teller who can see someones true identity.

Anyway I feel bad for following the crowd and I have my suspicions. <.<

I've played it too, but it's just called the wolf game, no one gets to know who it is except the wolf and who picked the wolf (<Who usually was the previous wolf and sits out the round). Everyone votes someone out till there are only two people left, or you catch the wolf. You're supposed to mark the body of the wolf with pen under a sleeve or something so people lift their sleeves to show if they are or aren't the wolf when they are voted out. If it gets down to two people, the wolf wins.

so I'm just wondering... if there are two werewolves, and it was said they are supposed to talk to each other in PM to strategize... how do they know which one is the other werewolf? why can't they have the chance to kill each other?

I'm also wondering if that's the reason we've only been getting one one kill per night cycle because they've been working together. or if it's part of the rules to just only have one werewolf kill at a time.

HalcyonFour's talk is freaking me out and making me kinda suspicious.....

Yes, I was afraid of this. However, I wanted to take the risk because I believe in giving my life up for the rest of the village.

It seems that my attempts to analyze the game (and figure out exactly what the odds are of all of us villagers surviving) are curiously being used against me. I personally find it very interesting that nikkiolie has taken this opportunity to single me out. It seems that he has recognized my propensity to analyze. Why would anything I am saying be "freaky"? I have only been trying to point out to everyone the possibilities of there being one or two werewolves! I have only been trying to clarify the context of the moderator's posts so that all of us can benefit from a broader understanding of the game! I tell you who it could be "freaky" to, though. A werewolf, perhaps? Is nikkiolie trying to get you on his side so he can get rid of me? I don't know.

What I do know is that I am NOT a werewolf. If I am voted out in this round, you will have lost a VERY valuable asset to this village. However, I am going to post as much as I can, as these could be my last words. Of course, if by your good graces I don't get voted out in this round, keep in mind that I just might die by werewolf in the next round. If this happens, you all will have an excellent hint about who the real murderer is. Of course, I realize that by saying this I may just have scared the werewolf(ves?) from killing me. They may just try to frame me because I can see through their little schemes. (Or, they might try to frame nikkiolie from now on, since I've singled him out). Either way, it seems that I am in trouble, and that the game has just gotten a bit more interesting.

In any event, I was worried that by trying to help everyone analyze the game, I would eventually get called out. But as I've stated, only a werewolf would see this as a threat. Sadly, though, it seems that no good deed goes unpunished. I urge everyone who is thinking of voting me out to consider my case wisely. The odds are against me, but I am prepared to die for the village. This is why I have posted so many scenarios in this potentially last post.

Also, I strongly encourage you to look back and see who was a little too quick to agree with nikkiolie. If the werewolf(ves?) see me as a threat, they will be quick to agree with someone who wants to vote me out. As I recall, Chromophobic did not hesitate to agree with nikkiolie's vote. Remember, Chromophobic also was the first to cast a vote at all. And now Chromophobic is trying to vote me out.

Hmmm...I believe that my vote will be for Chromophobic again. If you are not a werewolf, I apologize, but it seems that you are always out to get someone.

Then again, if you do make it through the next round and the wolves do find you to be a threat and they kill you I am in huge trouble. After seeing who you voted for hal (I'm just going to shorten it, I hope you don't mind) I am starting to believe you are just a normal player, or possibly the merc/seer, but I don't think you are a wolf. If you were the seer you would have either looked at Chromophobic and known they are a wolf and that is why you are still voting for her. However, if you were the seer and you saw what she was and she wasn't a wolf then you would be changing your vote. The fact that you are keeping it constant for me is something I need to take into consideration.

Alright. Im going to make my case then. Im not the wolf, if i was, i would have killed greg first. But alas, he still stands. While that isn't much of a defense from maydrock, I still vote for because I believe she is using psychology to try to draw us off. If she were to kill me off first she would be under more suspicion so doing the smart thing she killed someone else (unless she's saying for the first killing of the game, but even then I do not know why I would be the target). Voting for the same people every time does not guarantee anything especially when they have been mainly less active people, though I do understand that point of view as well. In this case I'm going with my gut feeling and intuition that Maydrock is probably just someone who is less active and ended up missing a vote as well (though I wish they were more active for the sake of playing the game). Sorry if I'm wrong, but I'm going with my feelings here.

At the end of the night, nikkiolie and Jacob_Blackfeather are walking back to their rooms at midnight. Suddenly, nikkiolie transforms in front of Jacob.
"NIKKIOLIE IS A WOLF!!! CYBERINCISION! HELP M..." Jacob is then slashed across the throat.

CyberIncision turns the corner, and nikkiolie is there waiting. She pounches on Cyber, and eats through her quickly.
