Briefly, for a little over an hour, every page in the forum was displaying a prominent notice indicating that the copyright notice was missing, and implying that the forum administrators were tampering with the copyright notice. This was not true, and I have positively confirmed that the notice was caused by an erroneous tampering detection system in the forum software that we use (Simple Machines Forum).
