That full creeper.  We spotted him once and were blown away but neither me or my brother had our cameras.  I caught a picture later through a door to a crowded panel with him in the center and then was finally able to get a good one of him in the park.  Some others included a full sonic the hedgehog costume, dugtrio, and an Adventure Time group.

The Slenderman (He scared me everytime I saw him ;_;)
The Tokyo Mew Mew girls (I heard the Nyan Nyan Song and suddenly died from cuteness)
The Troll (So much winning)

Though I was sad I "couldn't" find the Carmen Sandiego.

Steve from Blue's Clues.

This! XD

And it has kind inspired me to cosplay Blue now :P

I really did not expect to see Steve from Blue's Clues. xD I found it both funny and cute, though! When I saw him, he was asking people if they had seen Blue. And I'm still wondering if he ever did. xD

Maybe next year?  XD

The Nyan Girls that danced. They were soooo cute!

As for who I didn't expect but did see.... that Black Star that was shouting all the time in character was a very nice surprise. Uhm... Maybe I just didn't get out enough (can't handle the heat without feeling faint) or I've been to too many cons in the area.

Probably the Liger Zero Jager, off the top of my head. That was really nice to see and it was soooooo well done! ^^

Maybe the wedding Nia and Simon. I always saw them between crowds of people and at the contest, but I was surprised to see them.

In thought the big dancing Crow (don't know the anime or character) during the cosplay contest.  the wings moved so well.
Current cosplays:
Waldorf (of Satatler and Waldorf)
Yakko Warner
Beetlejuice
More obscurity to come!  Next year: Not saying! ;) (Hint):  Its another Jim Henson Puppet!

I was so happy to see Cave Johnson and Caroline while I was Chell. They even had combustible lemons and came over to give me hugs and pretend I was their long lost child. That made my day 1.

A Mario block. Can't remember which one but it had eyes?
I also caught a sonic ring box/computer, but I didn't have my camera at the time.
lol I was that caroline. I was pleased to see chell as well and wheatley and I saw the adventure sphere Rick! Which brought out my portal fangirl-ness. I loved a lot of the cosplays this year, the chibi megaman and the mew mew girls were some of my favorites. That black star though was great. :)
=DDDD
Hello.

Yeah, I saw the Rick, too! All we needed was a Space and Information core. There was a Spy with a Space Core mask, so I guess that works. I also heard there was a Doug Rattman, but I never saw him.

That Megaman was super cute. I think his father/guardian was an L cosplayer, because there was a point at which I saw the L pick up and carry the Megaman around. It was adorable.

we don't have a tutorial of the head, as most of it was made at con (she procrastinated horribly) but I'm sure she'd be willing to talk you through what she did. And she does have a tutorial for the wings: http://sunnybrook1.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2w7bwe

This may seem strange, but I didn't expect to see two Liechtensteins.  I knew there was going to be one, but I knew nothing of a second one that would also be with a Switzerland.  THAT was unexpected to me...

OH. And the Grudge xD Shr was outside of my hotel room.

I was actually looking for her, but didn't see her at all... :'(

What I didn't expect to see at Con? The Silence Cosplayer. From the 1969 era Episode of the New season. I was freaked out anytime I saw the cosplayer. Mostly stuck around the edges of the park, and to the shadows. I don't even think they had a badge. BUt I made a bloody check mark on my arm, every time I saw them. 18 times! 18!

Yeah, I don't really care too much for the goth style.  It's better than the extreme Southern Belle that Anna Paquin did for the movies, but the goth still pales compared to the green & yellow spandex version.

Are you talking about the one from the 90's?  Yes, I've seen that one, and she was no "Southern Belle."  She may have had the accent, but she was a brawler, which means she wasn't a Belle.  They were ladies.

Yeah, I don't really care too much for the goth style.  It's better than the extreme Southern Belle that Anna Paquin did for the movies, but the goth still pales compared to the green & yellow spandex version.

"extreme Southern Belle"? Have you seen the original animated series? XD

Are you talking about the one from the 90's?  Yes, I've seen that one, and she was no "Southern Belle."  She may have had the accent, but she was a brawler, which means she wasn't a Belle.  They were ladies.

Gambit would disagree, he thinks Rogue is a Belle XD

That's because he wanted her.

Exactly lol I love Gambit and Rogues dynamic.

Definitely no argument there!  They are one of the best comic pairings ever, in my opinion.
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh

I love them, though I am torn because I also love wolverine and Rogue.

That one kinda grossed me out, because I'd always seen Wolverine as a sort of uncle figure for her...

...we're getting kinda off topic here.

I was a little surprised to see how many Ranma 1/2 characters there were this year; is that series starting to make another comeback, or something?

^ Sorry, but this really needs to go to PM.
This is my serious voice. Otherwise, I'm just another anime fan, not a moderator.
