Whoa, you mean you've actually seen an Edward? I have never seen an Edward! That's part of the reason why I decided to change, because I haven't seen any cosplays of him and he has a cute design. Whereas I've actually seen a few Ash cosplays. Weeell I dunno, I guess there might be a small likelihood of me still doing Ash if I can't pull off Edward because Ash's outfit, at least the one I'm planning to do, is more simple I feel. But I rather do Edward if I can pull it off. The only part I'm worried about/might be a bit of a challenge is the neck ruff.

You'd definitely be the only one at K-con, I'm pretty positive about that. :3 It's pretty fun being the only person cosplaying one character. You make people happy. XD For me I was the only Ronald Knox this year. That was fun. Even if my outfit wasn't the best.

Actually there was kinda one other William there besides Nekovamp, and I say kinda because she was primarily Pluto and when she took her wig off, I gave her some gel and a comb, and she combed and gelled her hair back, put on her glasses, and BOOM. William. It was pretty fun. :3
Here's a shot of me(and my now that I see it, awful Ronald cosplay. DX I look SO much better as Ronald know that my hair is shorter and I have black skinny pants and a real blazer and glasses with actual glass lenses. XD), My sister as a Dressy!Grelle and the William. :3

I would say afternoon, like after the Opening Ceremonies. Thought that's around 11/11:30, which I actually think would be better, especially if the weather is warm again. Since Kuro wears mostly suits and layers, I think it'd be better to have a shoot before it gets too hot. But that's just my option.

Mkay, so I'm no longer planning on doing Claude. I'd like to do him, and maybe if I have time/money I'll work on a cospaly for him at some point,
but for sure I'll be doing:
Ronald and William(Will have at least two outfits for Ronald and hopefully 3 for Will.... If there's a ball, I'd love to do a mascarade Will with my sis doing a mascarade Grell.)

And IF I can find it in thrift stores and IF I have money, Ciel. I'd obviously have to get his wig online, but I could get a paper boy outfit from Good will/ Value Village.
I still need to pre-reg and work on saving money for a hotel /after/ January when I get my next gecko.
My gecko breeding project is gonna come before this(If I can sell gecko babies, I can get money for putting stuff back into gecko breeding and K-con)

So I know for sure I'll be doing Will and Ronald, but that's it.

But I think we should have it after the Ciel's Party one because when the photoshoot was before it, barely any of the Kuro cosplayers at the shoot(who weren't actually IN the panel) got to go.

But I guess it was all good last time since we had our own teaparty which was, said by one of the Ciel cosplayers who went to the panel, better than the actual panel.

But I would like to make it to a Kuro panel sometime, and I don't really want to miss it next year due to the photoshoot(which I loved going to as well.)


Now please correct me if I'm wrong and you're not talking about Ciel Phantomhive's Grand Party(or whatever it was called. XD)

I understand where you're coming from but at the same time it is a bit unfair.  I mean...  If I was a crazy obsessed fan of Hetalia for example but I didn't cosplay it for money reasons or restrictions or something, and I ended up missing a panel because everyone who cosplayed hetalia got first dibs, I would be very upset.

It does seem unfair that cosplayers of that anime miss it but there are a LOT of cosplayers who do Hetalia and Black Butler as of late.  And if the room can only fit 30 or so, and there are over 30 cosplayers, then anyone not cosplaying wouldn't get a fair shot. 

It's just one of those things that if you want to go, you need to show up for it.  It sucks when a panel is right after a photo shoot.  I know last year a lot of people missing panels because shoots were going on.  I think it was Black Butler that had that problem.  A panel followed right after a shoot, so by the time the cosplayers got to the panel, it was already full and they got pissed.  I understand where everyone is coming from but it's just one of those if you really want to go, you need to go, sort of things.

That's why a lot of us are thinking we should have the shoot after the panel. So people can get in line for the panel when they want to and have a chance of getting in, and then head to the shoot and not have to really worry about time.

I agree it would be easier to meet at the clock tower, as meeting in one of the hotels esp hilton could get confusing since Hilton has two lobbies so you'd have to be very specific on the location for meeting in one of the hotels.

I have an extra Sebastian watch, but it is a collector's version with the contract seal printed inside (I too am going as Sebastian but I'll be using my other more character accurate watch). I will not allow you to keep it, but if you don't mind having a new "friend" follow you around for a while, you can borrow it.  I am uneasy about lending things to strangers (personal trust issue don't be offended), so if you were to borrow it you would probably have to deal with me following you around until you were done with it.

So only ask me if you want a borrowed watch, and a new friend temporary companion. :3

Oh, do you not have a chain?
I made the chain for my watch, (the one that came with the character accurate one was not so accurate a chain) as to buy one would have cost more than the watch itself. If you need an accurate chain on it I can easily make a second one for this watch as well.

Depending on how you plan to wear it, as if you're having your tailcoat buttoned, or open. If you're wearing it open, it already has a fairly accurate chain. If you want an albert style chain for having your coat closed, I can make one easily.

I'll PM you with some pictures of the watch and more info in a few minutes.

I was asked to go on Day 2 but I had turned my head away for like a few minutes and looked back and the majority of people were gone lol. I heard though that on the second day the photographer was picking only one cosplayer of each character, seems very rude. :/ Why not gather EVERY BB cosplayer and have a huge photoshoot of our awesomeness. Next year the place and time needs to be done EARLY and there needs to be a time limit if we're moving locations like say we'll wait 20 minutes for everyone before we walk off for photos. It's very rude to not include everyone.. Thank goodness I ran into some amazing ciel and Alois cosplayers and hung out with them and got awesome photos.

I've been hearing MANY bad things about the photoshoots...... From people on forums and outside of forums...

I do apologize for the outcome of that.
I was not there for any of the shoots. I planned on being there for both of them and conducting the photoshoots in a orderly fashion. Even though I wasn't going to be in Kuro cosplay (I was originally going to be Sebastian, but things changed due to personal conflict.), I was still going to take photos to gain more photography skills (as well provide you lovelies with more photos of your wonderful cosplays). But my schedule conflicted horribly with everything.

I do feel like it is my fault for what the photoshoots evolved into and that isn't okay. I was the one who created the thread, and I take full responsibility. Any of you Black Butler cosplayers can create a brand new thread for next year, and I hope you can create a fun, non-chaotic photoshoot that will be in fairness to everyone.

(If I'm totally wrong about this, sorry for the big ramble then... XD I've just been getting a lot of negative feed back from a lot of people so I thought I'd post a public apology.)
