Yeah it really depends on body type with jump suits. I like the flight jacket idea and I always like when soarin is done in cool airline outfits lol.

I'd also be willing to help with a panel. I could help with security in the sense of staying PG13 if we do a normal panel. I've had to do that with many other panels. B/c really, MLP is just supposed to be fun. No profanity is needed and really shouldn't be there.

I'm trying to find a punky wig that's a dark blue like his. And then I'm gonna style it, but I'm not having much luck...

Oh, also. I'm going to be working on a Discord cosplay as well for probably 2013. But who knows, if I get him done, I may derp around con as him, searching for all my ponies~

I have a question...what are peoples opinions on wings, horns, and ears on the pony cosplays? Some people have them, but some don't. What do you think? Do they add to the cosplay or feel silly?

I linked a girl who made my ears rapier in the thread. Her wings horns and ears are great quality and well priced.

I think tails look good if you have the right outfit. Some outfits just either don't need a tail or wouldn't go. But I kinda agree, if cat people get tails why don't Ponies?

And yeah, I'm gonna be getting my ears there. And then I'm just gonna make my wings myself.

Oh yeah, I know of those ears. Those will probably be the ones I'll get. I'll make my own wings though, that seems really steep for the ears and wings combo. Do you remember how much shipping was?

She takes requests for custom colors and has a vartiery of other options. I bought a baby pink instead of her pinkie pie color.

I think she means variety in differing colors between wings and ears or horns and ears. Like pink horn and white wings or something. Not custom colors as in shades of colors. But I'll email her and check anyways, thanks.

So I have fully decided that I'm going to get stilts for Discord!!!!!! Meaning I'm gonna have to save a butt-load for him...

So question: should I aim on getting him done for this year, or get Soarin' done and work on Discord throughout the next years?

They're the jumping stilts, and I'd just add on to them to get the shape. But I'm still looking for other options. But yeah, they're around 150-200 for just those...

My Rainbro Dash is going fantastic. I'm almost disappointed how fast it's been coming together. All I have left is to buy make-up, (which I never do until the month before the con.) shave my face and arms, and to buy ears. By some miracle, I found these awesome pegasus wings at the local Value Village that perfectly matched the sky blue color of my shirt and shoes for only 5 dollars. I celebrated afterwards I was so happy. XD I'd take a progress pic, but I'm going to wait until I shave off my beard so that I don't look utterly ridiculous. I'm now in the stage of trying to come up with any extra things I could add to the costume that would take time, but not money. Ideas?

Rainbow doesn't really have any props that I can think of...Except Tank the tortuous. So I don't know.

Though, I have a question for you all: for Discord, should I make his wings cute like he has in the show and like the other ponies, so make them more realistic? Just wondering...

I realized Rainbow has one prop, which is her aviator goggles she uses in the Parasprite episode. Those'll be a fun addition. It terms of my want to do more pony though, I'm considering doing a 2nd pony cosplay instead of wearing Rainbow to both Sakura and Kumoricon. I thought about doing Trixie, but that would make for three crossplays in one year which is a rather lot. There just aren't any good colts in the series to do. Unless of course there are some in Season 2. I've only seen the first two episodes of S2 so far.

Right! I forgot to mention that my voice is very tenorish, (which is why I can get away with crossplaying.) so Big Mac is not an option. I'm just not deep enough. XD However, I looked up Soarin' and he could be really fun since being a total spaz comes naturally. Now the only question is which to do for which con. XD
