I attended Kcon for the first time this year, and the gijinka battles and all those costumes all looked really fun!

For next year, I am planning on doing a Jirachi gijinka.

Something similar to this, I was thinking. (With more clothes, of course!) Maybe with a little white dress... But I really like the idea of a hooded cape for the head and frilly wing-bits. And the bow! ♥

Jessica baby, thank you for your hard work and thankies to all the others who helped out and made 2011 Kcon Pokemon Photoshoot group a good turn out

IT was very much fun. Sucky that the Squirtle Squad ended up showing up late XD

Hahaha anyways, next year might be mine and my group last year for Kcon, so we're all doing our own thing, so far it's only gonna be me and my (CON-virgin) cousin who will be doing a Pokemon gijinkas. I'll be doing Wartortle and she's gonna be Vulpix ^___^

Ahhh! I was too busy taking pictures of everyone in the park, so I didn't join in the gijinka battle, so how did it turn out?

Awe~ Thank you. I had lovely help with the photoshoot, so thanks go to all of them too. Gryffinclaw Princess and Griff_the_Dragoon♥ There was one other but I didn't get his name.

I don't know what I'm doing. I want to do Illumine, but I would need the dress/jacket thing commissioned and thats going to be a pain, plus the wig would probably be expencive.

I'll write you guys down. The Kisame I brought with me this year was a con-virgin and hes coming back with me next year. I'm going to have my sisters go this year as pokemon gijinkas. I'll have my mom send me a picture of them together so i can get help in deciding who they should be.

Lol its no problem. Where do you live? Im in vancouver so if your in portland, i can travel. It depends on what you want lol i can alter clothes, but not make them.

Well, come winter brake, I'm going to get the fabric for the shirt and make it out at my grandmas. Then I just have the shoes+gloves and the dress to worry about. I already have a wig I could try and style.

I think the name of this thread should be changed since it's not only gijinkas but any Pokemon cosplay.

Anyway I'll probably just rewear Ghetsis. A costume like that deserves to be worn repeatedly.

I think I'll do Ash or Sapphire. JRock is doing LightningPikachu and so ill be doing NaminePikachu too. That way I have a crossover and a regular. Im not sure yet though.

So I found the wigs for these~! Only problem is the wig I'm getting for Nidorino is a little brighter, but it should be fine, it's still pretty dark. I'll post pics when I have them!

SO MANY POKEMON. But I think I shall do a maid!Dragonite gijinka. Since last year's gijinka battles were such a success (for short notice, anyway) who would like to try it again? I was the Jirachi (in the long white evening dress and yellow hat) organizing everything, although I have to admit I was flying by the seat of my proverbial pants the whole time, lol!

I think I'm gonna do Banette this year instead of Cyndequil. Mainly b/c I can't afford too many new wigs. So I'll just be working on him. Thinking of doing a hoodie type thing. But I'm actually going to have a real zipper over my mouth ^^

I do make up effects. So you take a zipper and using latex and such, glue it to your face. I just have to make sure I leave enough unglued so I can zip and unzip it to talk. I haven't actually done it before on my mouth (I've done an effect w/ a zipper on my arm), so I may experiment with it sometime soon.
