I totally get how you feel. Pre-EOA5, I wanted to cosplay Rose in her black dress, the Dolorosa, Feferi and maybe Snowman. Now I've had to add God Tier Jade, God Tier Rose, PM, WQ, Derse PJs Rose, Terezi in her FLARP outfit, and fem!Doc Scratch to that list. Ugh, you guys, why do I love this fandom so muuuuuuuuch...

Yes!
If Terezi gets one during this year of updates I'm going to stop everything I'm doing just to do it and make it amazing.

Even though Terezi is my main out of the cosplays I want/wanted to do cause she's is my favorite above all. I also want to do Deadshuffle!Jade as well as Godtier!Jade I also want to do godtier!John (It looks so nice but yet its so simple. hnnng) and Nepeta cause she's my patron troll and my friend want to do Equis.

Fffff Equius! I love him so much, and I couldn't find anyone cosplaying him at Kumoricon this year.

I saw multiples of pretty much everyone else, but not a single Eq.

Aargh, Dead Shuffle!Jade, there's one I left off my original list. Also rainbow drinker!Kanaya, since she's my patron troll and chainsaws are cool.

My word, I know. I've been really hankering to do Male (or maybe even crossplay) Vriska since she's my patron troll and my favorite along with godtier!John, Bro, and Sollux. Alas, it's way too much, so I'm sticking to what I've got. Vriska may happen for Sakuracon, but my Kumoricon outfits are set in stone. TT_TT

Actually, I have stopped myself this time, though. My Homestuck costumes this year will be Wayward Vagabond and Bec Noir. I've decided to cut Snowman out so I could do a Kirby gijinka. I'll have to save her for later.

So I think I'll probably be swapping out Dolorosa for Feferi at Kumoricon 2012. Still doing Dolorosa at Sakuracon, but I reallyreallyreally want to do Feferi and I don't want to have to wait until 2013 or something.

Also, I may have a Redglare to go with Dolorosa at Sakuracon (I also have a Mindfang), although she may just be Terezi in her FLARP outfit. She threw together a last-minute Terezi for Halloween and it looked really great, so she wants to do a better version. Although, thinking about it, it wouldn't be too terribly hard to make both tops, two sets of horns and a different cane for her, so she could swap out whenever she wants to...

Somebody help this fandom is hijacking my 8raaaaaaaain...

Guys, I've decided that since I had all my crossplays planned for Sakuracon and none for Kumoricon, that I'm switching my Eridan over to Sakuracon and for Kumoricon I will crossplaying as Vriska, complete with dicet. Just thought I should mention that.

As well, I'm trying to figure out my third costume for Sakuracon and I'm considering Jake or Jane. (I would just be making the outfit since the wig I have works for both.) I'm leaning more towards Jane since that would make an even set of crossplays and straightplays, but I worry I wouldn't be able to do a voice that fits her since I get the impression that most people don't really see her as having an altoish (like Vriska) or boyish (like Rainbow Dash) voice. Then again, doing Jake would mean one cross and two straights at both cons which is also even. I guess I just like Jane better since my interests (detectives, etc.) are far closer to hers than Jakes. Not to mention I'd feel odd carrying guns being that I'm a pacifist and that I'd have no place to store said guns since my college has an anti-gun-imitation policy. It's tricky...

I think you should just go ahead and be Jane. It doesnt matter what your voice sounds like C:

Hey any avid actors cosplaying trolls? I'm running a panel at Sakuracon that's a murder mystery starring the trolls and I was thinking about doing it again at Kumoricon with a different cast and script. Possibly even two so we can have an 18+ and a minors version.

Nice, more ancestors!

I've got the money now, so I want to start work on my friend's Redglare cosplay soon. I'm also rethinking how I'm doing Dolorosa; I think I want to take a different approach with her dress than I'd originally planned, and I know I want to redo her horns' positioning on the headband, they're way too close together. I'll do that tonight, hopefully, and soon I'll go to the store and pick up some fabric to start the dress.

Sadly, I may be cutting Wayward Vagabond out of my lineup. He might stay, but I want to do a Digimon cosplay all the sudden and I need someone out. I have too many of the parts set up for Bec Noir to cut him.

We'll see. I won't be starting my cosplays for a while. I'm excited for all the Ancestors around, though.
