I found out last night that DJ Gino and I will once again take up the mantle of spinning the music that you want to hear on Sunday night from about 10pm - 3am. If you were at our dance last year (also Sunday) we had people dancing to the very end and we created an unstoppable dance machine. We'll follow a similar format of last year with request sheets and playing pretty much any song that you request and promise to dance to from Gaga to that Nyan Cat Song.

But help us out and get your music requests to us now. In this very thread. We'd love it if you gave us the artist, the name of the track, and maybe the album it's off of or a link the the music. But if you just want to say that one song that the girl with the leak had going in the background we may be able to pull out Loituma out of that.

Anyway get us your requests and we'll start our quest to get you the right music to dance to on Sunday.

Sweet. Keep the suggestions coming along. DJ Gino and I are taking notes. So you have really really obscure stuff that there is no way in hell we'll find on our own and has no nasty copyright making it illegal to send to me. You can zip it up and send them off to djdiscosnake(at)gmail(dot)com, if you want to mail stuff, Michael Brillig, CMD Productions, PO BOX 1594, Portland OR 97207 up until the Thursday before the con and I'll give 'em a listen, see where they'll fit, map out their bpms and add it to my list of goodies. Be sure to name them so I know what I'm playing and also throw a request up on this thread so I can see how many people want that song played. This thread is a popularity contest, the more different people who say they want the song the more certain we'll play it.

So far I'm pretty sure basshunter, kesha, gaga, LMFAO, Rick Astley, Darude, Ozone, Drunken Monkey, Cascade, MJ, and some vocaloid stuff, anime themes and remixes, because I've already have them loaded in my cases. Keep up the request because I have lots of room.

Thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday and had a good time at the dance. Sadly we didn't keep a playlist, we were a bit too busy playing requests and throwing glow sticks and balloons. But if you remember something about the song I'm pretty sure Gino or I could come up with it. As for coming back next year. Just let the next programming director know how much you loved our dance.
