Anyone here watching any last minute animes before the convention? I started Gurren Lagann and I plan to finish it before the con. I also want to watch more of The World God Only Knows. (I'm on about episode 5, very funny and enjoyable anime) I cannot wait for the con! (I would say start it now, but I still got to earn some money for food and the dealer's hall/artist alley)

I'm trying to finish Durarara!! as fast as I can. I doubt I'll be done by the con, since I'm only on episode 6 and I'm gonna be out of town for the week leading up to the con, but I want to get as far as possible. That and trying to read as much Homestuck as possible because I want to be able to talk to all the cool cosplayers without looking like an ignoramus.

Gah, 14 days and still so much to doooo. Where did all my motivation go?!

I finished Durarara!! a few weeks ago, very good series. I enjoyed it a lot, Izaya has to be my favorite character.

Yeah, I'm liking it a lot. Think I may see if I can buy it at KCon, it feels like something I'm going to want to rewatch. I like the kids, Kida Mikado and Anri, so far.

That countdown is mocking me...should be sewing, but instead I'm eating cereal and watching AMVs at 1:40 in the morning.

I've been watching a lot of anime, too. I'm going to be cranking it to overload the next two weeks though. Next week my wife and I will be having a Miyazaki-thon (or more appropriately, Ghibli-thon), and watching as many Ghibli films as we can get our hands on.

We've also been watching Eden of the East, which I absolutely love. A very enthralling plot and likeable characters. Nice animation, too.

Finished The Sacred Blacksmith before this. Didn't really care for it. Thought it was pretty generic and forgettable.

Aiming to watch as much as possible in the next two weeks. I've got a ton of stuff lined up in Netflix, and also have a lot I'm meaning to rewatch (Le Chevalier D'Eon, Azumanga Daioh, Akira, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Ninja Nonsense, Utawarerumono). That's a lot, so we'll see if it actually happens, heh.

Eden Of The East is one of my favorites, I heard about it at last year's Kumoricon at Funimation's sneak peak panel. I own the first movie, and the second movie should be coming in the mail any week now. (comes out on the 23rd)

Yeah, I stream it through my PS3, and it's as good as watching a dvd. The quality is so clear, I'd have never guessed I was streaming from a website.

Speaking of Crunchyroll, have you watched Deadman Wonderland? That was my last addiction. Still need to finish the last episode, actually. But it was my favorite thing on CR.

I don't think it's that we're a day off, necessarily. Keep in mind, that it also has the countdown down to the second, where as we're going off days only. Right now, as I type, it says "13 days, 21:41:20." It just means about 2 hours & 20 minutes ago, it was exactly 14 days ago.

(I want to get a good manga/anime library going and a con is the best place to get both, correct?) My dad might give me some money, but we're not sure.
