It's my first time being over 18, so now I get to stay late! And good thing! One of my favorite panels got moved to midnight (Oftenly renamed panel).

I'm wondering if they'll arrange the chairs differently for Cosplay Chess... last year was hard, since I was off on the side, so I had to turn sideways to see anything

Dude it's your first time for an over 18 thing too! I am in the same boat bro OwO

yeah last year was pretty hard and my feet started to hurt >< I would really like some chairs.

I was glad I was barefoot last year >.> I was an Organization!Moogle from 358/2 Days. The other three from my cosplay group, though, all had heels. They ended up barefoot within the first few minutes

Yeah, I have boots, no matter what cosplay I'm doing. My female!Undertaker has ankle boots that aren't as bad, but Undertaker has knee high leather boots >.>

I will be there with you in spirit Jacob, I find it funny that your Sebastian from the previous day will now be the one controlling you. I use my queen the most, but that also means you are the safest from being lost. You will be attacking quite a bit though

Do we have announcers? The people that watch over the chess masters and then tell the pieces to move while also making funny commentary?

I hope so, It is hard to play chess, move everyone around, and make witty comments while still aiming to win.

Please, guys, enough of the chatting. We don't have time to deal with this and get ready for the con as well.

It's fine to talk about things that are directly related to Cosplay Chess. But pages of chat about subjects that are only vaguely related makes it hard for other people to talk about Cosplay Chess without feeling drowned out.

helps!!! i know its late but on the off chance we get in my friend is signing up to be a piece and I am her special attack... Her being Summoner Yuna, and I being her Shiva Aeon. WE DON'T HAVE OUR BADGES! they never got sent we have worked it out and are picking them up at will call.....however this means we don't have our badge numbers. what do we do?

The list is already up, so you should know if you got in or not. And if you haven't signed up already it is much too late. In the future, if you don't have your badge number at hand, just state that you're getting it at willcall or buying it.

Also, in the past the two Chess Masters have a list of the character names and what piece they are, and they are the only ones with mics. So they can say their witty comments, and they are also the ones who tell the pieces to move. Usually the best way to tell the person to move is to tell them how many spaces and in what direction...B/c most of the pieces probably don't know how to actually play chess.

This will probably be brought up during the practice beforehand, and if not, it should be mentioned or asked by someone.

I think it made it better since it's not easy for the Chess Masters to always think of witty banter, especially while thinking of moves.

Chess was good this year, the only thing I'd like to complain about was the fact that a lot of people were coming up during battles without being told they could. It was getting really out of control.

One of my complaints is that IF YOU AREN'T REQUESTED FOR OUR BATTLE, DON'T COME ONTO THE BOARD! i'm talking to all you annoying, running girls! we were having a battle between terra, and Lelouch, and just what the hell was that?? we NEVER asked for them to get onto the board! it was very rude, and we already had something else preplanned with Lelouch in case we went up against him! we understand you are "excited" to be in the cosplay chess, and/or upset that you didn't get picked as a main piece or attack, but I really don't like that these hordes of people just kept going around on the board thinking that they could come up whenever the heck they wanted! i understand for some battles they might've been called, but if you aren't asked to do it, then don't! it's just incredibly disrespectful!
