Since Todd Haberkorn has gotten quite popular of late and plans to return to Kumoricon this year, who all would be interested in attending a Greedling dinner?
I've been to a few Risembool Ranger dinners before and I was thinking that it would be a good idea to start one up for Todd Haberkorn's fan base. What do you guys think?

The idea is for Todd's fans (and Todd if he has time) to get together at a restaurant for a lunch or dinner. Vic Mignogna's fans hold Risembool Ranger dinners at various cons, which Vic often goes to and they're a lot of fun.
I'm not sure where the meet-up would take place, but I would like to find out what restaurants are nearby and which ones would be the best candidates.

If you click on "Locations" the first one you'll see is the one I'm referring to.

You can also see their menu. The most expensive thing there (that I saw) is $16.99 ($18.38 after tax), but that was a lamb skewer. Their paninis range from $6.59 to $8.89, their calzones are either $8.89 or $9.29 (and they're EPIC), they have various pizzas to choose from, pasta dishes from $10.49 to $13.39, and various appetizers and stuff, too!

I just took a look at their website, hoping to find the info on when they're open on Fridays (which is until 10pm, btw). I found something interesting to point out...

There is a gravel parking lot nearby that occupies an entire block. The people that own it are okay with Little Italy customers using the lot, but ONLY AFTER 5PM. Anyone who parks there before 5pm runs the risk of having their vehicle towed.

I doubt that this will be an issue in this case, but I figured that it'd be a good idea to point this out anyways, in case there were going to be plans for car trips, or something. You might luck out and find some vacant spots elsewhere, but the website made it sound like the possibilities would be rather tough. if you go with 4pm, it might be more plausible...

That's a good idea. I think at least a few of us should make one, just to be sure. Or we could wait to find out when we'll be done with registration first. That way, anyone who knows they'll be done in time can be the one/ones to make one. I'll work on making one myself as well, but I think it'd be good for at least two of us to do it.

On a lighter note, I got a new cookie recipe book and because Todd plays Italy in Hetalia, I was thinking it'd be fun to make Cookie Pizza, Jack's Biscotti, or Pine Nut Cookies (an Italian recipe) for the gathering.

If I recall, she's considering going as France and likes the Hiitachins. (Also, it'd be more likely that she'd have the money between the two of us).

Since we're getting closer to the con, I'd like to suggest that we start to work on a Greedling sign pretty soon. I was thinking it would be a good idea to get in finished in two weeks tops, that way we'll have it done in plenty of time with no pressure to get it done at the last minute.
I was thinking that either we could have one large sign made or two smaller ones. I'll see what I can do to make one, but if anyone else would like to volunteer, let me know.

It's looking good. You should color the text to make it easier to read from a distance.
And adding a few character-related things would be great, too.

Sounds good. I was thinking the sign's general background could be white with the text colored and have some character-related stuff added.

There's Ling's sword, Tajima's batting helmet, and Hikaru's hair (which is slightly different from Kaoru's).

So, how did everyone enjoy the dinner? And what were some of your highlights?

My favorite things were meeting up with everyone and just having a great time. I really liked the restaurant too and will work on holding another dinner next year.
