I'll spare you with the long story...

My photography final for school is suppose to be a collage of pictures you've taken yourself. You can do it as a portfolio or a video or slide show or whatever. I was thinking of doing a video with some fun music and such.

But all my cosplaying friends are hours away and don't want to drive here to do it. It's down to myself and one other friend. That being said I was wondering if there were any cosplayers in the Portland City Area who would want to come and be part of it.

I'm not the best photographer but I'm trying! It'll be a free photo shoot for those who just are bored on the weekends and want something to do. I'll email you the photos when we're finished and such.

All costumes are welcomed in any form. The more detailed and elaborate the better but I'm not picky one bit

If you have questions or comments or want to take part just say so and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Friday February 25th 2011
Meet at Pioneer Square (if raining, meet inside Starbucks) around 2pm
Any Cosplay is welcomed though it would seem this is more Ouran Host Club themed (that doesn't mean you can't still come if you're something else!)
Around 2:30 or so, we'll migrate to the shoot locations so if you're late or think you might be late, it's best to get my phone number o you can call or text me so.

I'd love to help out with this, too. Probably the best that I could do would be to revive Mikuru, but I'd need to get a new wig for it and find a way to have the top fit better. (Got one thing taken care of, though...).

I'll also ask about my college friends who cosplay to see if they'd be able and willing to model for ya.

I wish I could help. I have only my marisa costume from 2010 finished. My vocaloid one isn't though. :C.

@Titus_Love_Doll : That would be wonderful! I do a lot of pictures here and there and am usually the one doing the photos for our cosplay group but any tips and tricks would be great. I'm working with a new camera so I'm still not use to it.

YAY! I've got at least one friend who said she'd help out, too! My fiancee said she'd be willing to help out, too, but can't do it on Sundays. Would Wednesday work for you? If my memory is working correctly, we could be down there, (wherever THERE is), around 2:30. Sound good?

Everyone! So I work Sunday's now. So if we were to do it it'd have to be more towards the evenings or sometime during the week. When are you guys free? I can even ask for a day off or something so we can work or something then.

I just realized a slight problem with my Mikuru plan: I have no wig.

The one I wore the last time I was in bunnygirl mode was thrashed, and I gave my jailbird version to my fiancee's father-in-law. (You don't want to know why...). So, unless I can get a decent enough substitute for it, I might not be able to do something for you.

Yeah, we've actually been planning this for some time, now. It's just taken a while to announce it formally here. In fact, I've been thinking about making a post dedicated to it.

Oh, FYI, since it's on April 1, the theme is going to be Pirates vs. Ninjas. Guests are encouraged to cosplay as anything they want, if they want to at all. We're also asking for people to NOT give us any gifts. In fact, we're looking into getting things arranged so that guests can give monetary donations to a charity of some sort.

So I think Fridays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays will end up working best if you guys can. Work decided I have to now work on Sundays. I usually work until around 4 pm so if you guys are free in the evenings more, that would still work out. Same for Saturdays. What do you guys think?
