Am I the only one here crazy enough to start yelling at something you're sewing? >.< Because I did.

... And I'm sure I'm the only one crazy enough to grab a pair of scissors and turn a dress into a skirt because I couldn't make the top look right o.o I must improve the patience >.<

But seriously... has anyone else ever been mad at something they're sewing? And if yes, how in the world do you get over it? >.<

i was making a sling bag and the pockets were scrooing up and then the strap dident go on right so i tossed it in a wood chipper :twisted:

i love neghbors that will let you borrow tools like wood chippers and table saws if you ask befor taking  :twisted:


that thing blew into little tiny peaces that blew away down the street never to be seen agen! :twisted:


((NEVER THROW PLASTIC INTO A WOOD CHIPPER!))

I was trying to sew a jacket once with my mom's new sewing machine.

And it wasn't working so I yelled at it of course and tried to force it to sew.

The needle ended up breaking off and jabbing me in the cheek -_-

So now I decide I will work out opitions with peices of clothing instead of trying to force them to do what I want.

Don't worry. I think everyone does that from time to time. I know I did! The fabric I was sewing got alotof verbal abuse. ^_______^;;

I understand your fustration.  my costume was finished, but then it doesn't really fit me, and my mom's not helpping me with the altering, and I can't sew!  I don't know what to do.

God no-- are you kidding?  I always yell at my sewing.

Hell, I yell at my tables and cabinets and chairs when they rub me the wrong way.  Imagine how frustrated I get with sewing projects =P

A friend of mine almost got arrested for assualting her sewing dummy with a pair of scissors, cause the neighbor saw it through a drawn shade and thought it was a real person getting stabbed.

i used to get mad at my stuff when i firs stared sewing but i think ive been at it REALY since i was sixteen.  i dont have as much to get mad about anymore.

I've cursed in foreign languages when I would prick my finger with the sewing needle as I would sew patches onto my Mythwear bag.  :P
