We now have a panel and we would like our room to look spiffy and Pocky-tastic. It'll be right after opening cerimonies on Saturday, and there will be more information on that when it comes closer to con time... I hope. x-x
Megan (Nightmare-chan) and I are getting some gaint cardboard boxes and painting them to look like pocky boxes, and it would be really helpful if you would make some little Pocky related items that would help alot, and possibly get you free pocky? Or a complementary glomp-o-gram (Not that that's what it's called... Heh. Legal issues.)

Don't know/care whether you'll use it. I got bored and whipped this up from a pic snapped at last March's Anime Oasis in Boise.

The crudely-rendered "Pocky Box" that also advertises Kumoricon is supposed to "tastefully" censor a hand gesture known as "The Shocker", which is thrown by a lot of rappers and gangsters, as well as fratboys.

Oishii, Densha, those are both cool. Densha has made a bigger contribution than he (he right?) expected.

I think that everyone inf Pocky club should get one of these and sneak itinto their forum's sig. It's small and won't distract from your other images! also sloganizer can provide everyone with unique slogans for Pocky Club!

The wind, any flyers you want to make to promote Pcoky Club are welcome! Just explain where the panel is and say that we love anime and Pocky! Also, like I've said all along, Pocky Club needs phrases and stuff in Japanese so we can be more authentic. Speaking of authentic, check out the batch of Pocky Commercials on the web right now.

First, open notepad. windows notepad is my hero because it is so simple and small that it never gets in the way but is extremely useful.

Now go to http://www.sloganizer.net/en/, input Pocky Club on their text bar. When it displays your slogan there will be a piece underneath it that says "Image as a forum signature". Then on the next part you change the style to Number 5 (Simple). It will display the code you need below in the part labeled "The BBCODE for use on messageboards "

Run your cursor over the code and highlight it. Press CTRL-C to highlight it. Now to be safe, paste it into Notepad. This will make sure you have it intact if you lose your internet. You can even save the file for the moment just to make sure.

I've got finalized versions of the order form by the way.

I've made a bunch of copies to start with and I'm sure we can make more before the convention. I'm going to try and ask the staff if they'd like to request any for certain guests or other staffers. I know Baka Zoku is a target, but maybe Greg Dean or Brad DeMoss would enjoy getting some of our Pocky too.

Good point. Even pictures of implied suicide in movies make me squirm.

I was watching 'Bible Science' or something and it was talking about cruifiction and the way Jesus' feet where hammered into the cross and they had pictures of these dead people hanging of crosses from the 1930's or so I think and they where sooooo skinny you could see thier bones and it made me sick. D: Holocaust pictures scare me too.

Ohmygosh. This is sooo way off my topic.
^_^;; Okay! Back /on/ topic. Megan and I started out Pocky Box today. xDDD We had to go dumpster diving! o_o; at a furnature store. Eh. We cut off the flaps and reenforced the insides with harder cardboard and then stenciled out the base colors of the box. ;DDD We used spray paint and it got up our noses. It turned out really good but then we got all stupid and now there's a GAINT pink ish smear. Dx Beacuse of me and my hand. But it looks cool. We're doing Strawberry Flavored. It's about 3 feet high...

Gaint - kyojin
Super - su-pa, su-pa-
Pocky - Pocky. o_o; It's in Katana, so I don't think there's a Kanji for it, same thing with 'Super'.
(And I don't know how dependable seeing as that's an Internet Translation site.)

I can't write in Kanji. I only know (more than half) of Hiragana and some Katana.

Chou : Super-; ultra-; hyper-
Kyodai (na) : giant (size) (@Neko_Chan: "Kyojin" is Giant as in a person, noun)
Pocky : Yeah, probably katakana

Okay, so I'm not 100% on this but I think it's a pretty good guess:
Choukyodai na Pocky

("Na" is there because kyodai is a "na" adj.)
And for source of kanji, the website I use is http://www.solon.org/cgi-bin/j-e/tty/dict

Again, if you can't see the kanji at first, highlight the page and look in the top left corner.

Are you talking about Negima's images? Beacuse you just have to highlight the upper left corner.

They're a little hard to see and only some computers actually show it at the beginning. Highlighting it works (I have to do it on my computer to see it).

If you want me to, I could draw it and post a link.

Megan and I have changed it around a little, so now we're printing out giant posters of Pocky, and we're going to put that on the box instead of spraypainting beacuse it's getting on my nerves. The posters are really big. :3 About 4 feet high? Should we adversive our services on them? ^_^;;;

The prints are too big for the box we have so we're just going to have large posters of boxes of pocky... Dx Sorry!
I'm gonna go buy pocky and stuff today... I dunno how much pocky I can buy though... I'll try getting the Strawberry Chocolate Decorer if they have any, it's really good.
