So during the con this year, I had tons of fun in with the Kuroshitsuji group. I was hoping that we could plan a meet up sometime in October, November, or even February if we can't decide by that time. This would be a potluck style event so it would be great for everyone to bring a dish *cough* and make the Sebastians serve it *cough*

Location: Pioneer Mall, Portland (FINAL)
Date: November 20th!
Time: 11:00-11:45 a.m. arrival (Meet in the center of the Food Court)
11:45 a.m. we go do whatever from there.

Derp well if no one questions the location in about two days it will become final. Now we need a weekend in November. I can't do it on the weekend of the 6th..it's my sister's bday.

i cant do that weekend either. my dads bday weekend. and i really dont care where it is in portland... i really wouldnt mind if its in vancouver either. also, im going as myself. cuz my cosplay is on hold until i can get better. why not do chinatown? that would be so cool!

Hrrrn I have no clue how to get to Chinatown S:

With the Lloyd Center we could hang out in the mall, go to the park outside, or even head down to the Waterfront if we wanted to via Max and hang out (like we did at the Vocaloid meet lolKristi)

um lloyd center isnt anywhere close to the waterfront. and you just get off at the stop that says chinatown then go north for like a couple blocks. and then youre in chinatown!

I really need to invest in a map...besides one of the entire country.. (That is honestly the only map I own..lolHetaliaRef)

My false knowledge of Portland is why I suggested Vancouver first, plz be patient with me here, I am really trying hard.

no worries, i have issues with geography as well. ask me how to get somewhere in omsi and im fine. but ask me how to get there, i wouldnt be able to tell you.

I'm not the best at directions, but I can usually find my way.

And Steely, if you have Ran Mao's hair done, you could always do a casual version/original version.

If I have my Joker wig figured out by then, then I'll probably do a casual version of him...If I don't feel like wearing a suit for William, b/c he wouldn't wear anything else but...

honestly, ill have to see if i get the wig in time. i havent even ordered ran maos wig yet. my hair isnt black and i would prefer not dying it black. so i have to go and buy the wig. plus, i havent even started looking for materials as well. and since i dont have my own source of money yet, my dad is my bank for the moment. so it depends on payday and convincing my dad that i need it.

What I'm worried about is the rain you guys...this is gonna be in November, and do the Chinese gardens cost money?

Srs guys...Chinatown is mostly full of shops and restaurants...nothing much else. So we really need to think about this..

Pros and Cons here.

Pros and Cons to Lloyd Center
Pros
-cover from the rain, saves everyone's cosplay (including Shay's Blood)
-cheap food
-park right next to it
-it's really easy to get to, and almost everyone knows how to get there.
-we can hang out near the fountain
-take the max line down to the waterfront near the hilton (it's possible...we did it at the vocaloid meet)
-Lots of fountains and parks to take photos at near the hilton.

Cons
-can't have costumes that cover your face
-might have an issue with Bloody!Alois in the mall..lolmallcops
- we all might be tempted to go ice skating.

Pros and Cons to Chinatown
Pros
-New location
-Photos at the lovely entrance

Cons
-Kuroshitsuji is based in the European style...it doesn't make much sense to go to Chinatown.
-No known Rain cover (at least that is fun to hang out at)
-not much to do, small section of Portland, mostly shops and restaurants (pretty expensive)

So looking at this logically...what do you guys honestly think?

Pioneer mall would probably be better as well, cosplay wise. They allow more things and don't stare at us like we're going to steal something or kill someone...

And especially if it doesn't rain, I think we could get some awesome pics at the bricks!
