With better hair, thinner/muscular body, and even purple contacts!!!

And for next year, I am trying hard to get all 7 sins! I know I have a Gluttony, Lust, Wrath and me as Envy so far. And I even have a Father!!!
I'm gonna try to convince a friend to be Pride...

Tips of the anti-gravity trade: Very tight dress, prayer, a corset made inside the dress helps, toupee tape (cheap, easy to find and is made for skin contact).

Tattoo: You can buy blank temporary tattoo paper that you can print on your inkjet printer. You can make the tattoos any size, shape, color etc. If you do that remember to reverse the image. 10 sheets of paper is less than $30 on ebay. I've only used two sheets in the several years I've done Lust and that's including handing them out to other sins.

My hair is brown and curly.
I've been wanting to dye it black for ages, so I'll try it out, and if I like it, I'll do it again for the con (I'd wait until the con to try it, but I'm too impatient).
And I can straighten it, 'cause it's definitely long enough when it's straight. Then I just have to tease it to make it crazy enough.
It's gonna be painful, but I'm willing.

Though, after my most resent photoshoot, I thought it'd be awesome to have a FMA photoshoot before con (summer?) at the Keller Foutain in Portland. It's an amazing area and would be perfect for all different kinds of scenes. So, is anyone interested in a private shoot sometime in the summer for all FMA peoples who are able???

Pattern books are really awesome when it comes to things like that, you know.
Just go to your local fabric store, and look for some long gloves.
You can also always buy base gloves for it and just sew the red on.
Her whole outfit is actually I think the simplest one I'm doing this year :x

Raveen, I used red puff-paint for the tattoo part on Envy's shoulders and it worked very well. I like using paint b/c it makes it look like it's apart of the fabric in the first place.

Be a really smart shopper who takes advantages of multiple coupons, And look for sales at the same time. I ended up with 50% off the fabric for Lust, which was Crepe Back Satin. Any small thing like that, and materials are cheaper for the poor person.

Does anyone know where I can get Stripper Heels for Lust in size 8.5 or 9's? I looked at three Good Wills, the Red White Blue store, and another place nearby. And I don't trust online for anything dealing with my feet.

Actually, i think I have shoes that will work. I'm actually selling them too. I used them for Mai Valentine. And I think they're a size 9-10. I'll have to try to measure it or something, b/c it doesn't say.

Oh! And I've decided to just do Greed-Ling this year. I'll have Envy for next year and try doing Ling for next year as well. I just don't wanna deal with open-chest binding this year ^^;

Speaking of gloves. I have the base for my Lust gloves, but her hands have that tan patch thingy. Should I try cutting the satin glaves and get some flesh color fabric there, or should I just sew the flesh color just on?I'm still a novice at cosplaying. . .and more at sewing.

I would just put it over. That way you keep the shape. Once you sew it on, you can always turn it inside-out and cut the extra out.

I made my wrench by cutting out a wooden handle and I used cardboard for the top. Then sprayed it with spray foam, and carved out the details, covered it with paper mache to smooth it out and spray painted it silver and added some "grease" for looks :3

If you can get your hands on the spray foam it works really nicely and is pretty easy to use too~

I was actually considering going as Greedling for the Con awhile back, I had even bought and styled the wig.
Later I decided I didn't want to cosplay him, so I just had a long black wig I was doing nothing with. I eventually destroyed it and turned it into L's hair. XD

I'm curious as to how many Edward's I'll see. I know he and Roy are probably the two most cosplayed characters... I didn't know that Hughes was that popular. XD (I love Hughes though)

I haven't decided yet. I'm working on a super secret costume that may or may not work from Avatar (air, not smurf). I guess I'll do Lust on Monday since I've already been talking to people about it. Not thrilled about that since I gained a little bit of weight, but eh. I'll do Ranma-chan at some point during the weekend. I considered bringing Millie from Trigun, but I lent out part of the costume at Sakura-con and haven't received it back, plus it would be waaaaaaayyy too hot. I may even do nothing on one day. I guess I'll just wing it.

I had to spend nearly an hour an a half constantly picking on this other Lust cosplayer! Nearly 4 times! I really don't know how I can pick it up now, but there had better some other options. I also live in Beaverton, Oregon and also am completely,unable to drive to whereever the heck you live too.
