question about making a reservation online... help please

i have a quick question about making a reservation.  when we make a reservation online for the double tree, are we charged right then for the full roomrates?  or are we charged when we actually check out like at sakuracon... does anyone who's already booked a room know if their credit card got charged immediately or if they haven't been charged just yet?  thanks

My credit card was not charged when I made my reservation this year.  My guess is that it will be worked like the Mariott did it last year, where you will be charged when you get to the desk.  But my card has definitely not been charged at all.
