OK, so here's the deal, we have little over a month until the convention is here and there's only been one real meeting. So here's the plan.

There will be two more Kumoricon volunteer/staff events for us to go to. The "August Meeting" and the "Bag Stuffing Party".

August meeting is to be announce but as soon as sombody sees it posted (or gets insider info) post here! That way we can lla make it there.

The Bag Stuffing Party will happen at an unknown location but will most likely be really near when the convention happens.

Since these dates are unknown and most likely will happen without much warning, we need to schedule our own meeting so that those of you who haven't met up yet can be here before the convention. This is mainly for Panda since he's the furthest away (I think). It's also for people who've just had bad luck getting here, like MistressLegato and PinkIchigoKitty.

Since it's getting late and I want a decent night's sleep, I'll open up the floor to suggestions from club members. Right now I'm thinking that Uwajimaya's would be the place to meet and then we could travel to the hotel via bus/car to show everyone the space.

What do you guys think?

I see that the Kumoricon Meeting will be on the 14th (Sunday, it was on the homepage), and I asked my dad about going up again and he said he'd think about it. ^_^- Which is most likely a yes.

As for traveling all together from Uwajimaya's, I don't know how willing my dad would be to do that for Megan and I. We'd most likely end up meeting everyone at the hotel, unless we get on our knees and beg.

^_^- I think we should all try and be in costume. xDD That would be fun... That way Kim isn't the only one that gets weird stares. :3

I'M ALIVE!!! my nets been down since monday(and its still down on my computer) and I dunno if it will stay up at this point.

uwajimaya is on beaverton hillsdale highway(something I personally nicknamed the asian highway) bus 54 from beaverton transit center can take you to it.

now I'm getting the feeling that the meeting won't get anywhere unless someone picks a day or something so how about july 30th weekend(there is this weekend, but that may be too soon..?)? its about a week from now for those who dun know what the date is.

we could have a cosplaying making get together meeting or something and just pester each other to complete our cosplays. presuming, we each make our own cosplays.

This weekend I will be in Eugene, so I cant make it. Next weekend I should be around tho, but the following two after that I will be in Eugene. On August 14th is the K-con meeting, but I think I'll be missing that since I'm coming back from Eugene that day and my picnic for work is 11-4 and I can't get out of it.

okay, I figured there would people that would be busy already for this weekend. if anything, I kinda doubt nekochan would be able to get a ride back up here soon after the last one.

alternately, we could have online meeting. since nekochan can't use aim, we'll likely either have to get win msg, some other im that works with both, or maybe set up a chat room in IRC.

internet relay channel....I think. I had used them in a chatroom RPG game years ago. at first, I used some yahoo to get into the chatrooms, but later used mIRC which had better features.

Park Lanes is a bowling Alley in Hillsboro. Hillsboro is WEST of Portland, in Washington County.

I'm happy that you guys have been working so hard to plan this!
I think that having a meeting at Uwajimaya next Sunday would be the best for getting the most people together. If you all want to meet this weekend go ahead and get together! You can talk about costuming and Pocky and the convention!

I have not been able to design the order form for deliveries yet but i'll be working on that over the weekend.

Everyone's assignment now: find a picture ofthe character you are cosplaying as and email (or PM) a copy to me and Kurimono.

Kurimono is going to be the new WEBMASTER of pockyclub.20megsfree.com and will make a characters page for us!
Right Kurimono?

(don't worry Kurimono, Luana says we can make Ronime do it if you think its too much pressure. ^_^ )

So if we all can go next sunday, in Beaverton, are we headed up to anywhere? (And if so, how are we getting up there? Tom, Ron, Kim, Panda, Ichigo, Legato, Mika, Kurimono, Megan, ((plus the girls that Ron had last time if they're comming. Sorry if I missed anyone!)) and I... That's 12 people... And Kuri-tan and I are gonna wear cosplay... Gonna try and convince Megan to too...
