I just woke up, so I guess technically this isn't late night for me.  Weird, since I normally go to sleep about an hour from now. :P

You know the DJ's have no control of what plays on the radio anymore right? Most Radio Stations use corporate playlists, bought from the likes of Clear Channel and CBS.

You got lucky, The DJ can bump songs up and down, but they only have control of the order of songs within the hour, not what songs.

Yet another reason I don't listen to the radio.  ;)

This is what I've heard by ex-radio professionals. Former KUFO Dj's at that.

Oh, I don't listen to KUFO anymore, the music isn't my cup of tea, and ever since Cort and Fatboy were fired, I just stick to internet radio and podcasts (A lot of PDX.FM/Cort and Fatboy).

:'D I just finished my English homework!!!
Reppy helped me. ^^

Taking a 1,200 word document and summarizing it into 100 words!!

"This report presents never before documented evidence that the near extinction of a plant is connected to the extinction of an associated animal. Thirteen 300 year old Calvaria survive with no younger specimens. Dodos became extinct by 1681 with fossilized Calvaria pits found amongst remains. This leads to the hypothesis that the Calvaria evolved a thick pit to protect its seeds from being ingested by dodos. Seventeen turkeys were force-fed a Calvaria pit with 3 pits subsequently germinating. This shows that the Calvaria changed through coevolution with the dodo, providing a basis for preserving the species through artificially abraded seeds."

You guys think that just by reading that, that you understand what the report is about?

It's a tad jumpy in places, overall it's a pretty good summary, If I had the original text I could edit it more, but I rather not.

Also don't be dissing on my English Nando, as a Writing major, I find your lack of passion for the pen, disturbing.

Trust me, I wish it wasn't this jumpy. :/
But it was hard to get the required stuff in there and keep it at 100 words. I got it to 107 and it was pretty good but the assignment had to be 100 exact. That is when it became a bit jumpy.

I wouldn't write it in a textbook/ highly academic form. Rather use your own style/voice to summarize it. That should help the flow issues.

I would but we were supposed to only use what was in the original article so it keeps the same voice.
The outline of the assignment was that this is a summery of the article that will be going in a Science magazine. The article will be published in a later volume but they want a 100 word summery to be published sooner as an overview of the piece.

And it also has to be textbook form because it's a Technical Writing piece, which is the class I am taking.
All of our assignments are written in a business tone.
