I usually do the elliptical for 30 min and then do around 40 situps.

So for Anri's glasses, I'm planning on getting a nice pair of Harry Potter glasses. The ones I found have the HP logo on the sides, but I'm going to sand it off. Also I remembered that I still have to make Saika! That'll be fun, I've never made a sword before.

Yeah totally make a sign! At Sakuracon I saw a great Shizuo who had a "no parking" sign with "DURARARA!!" spray painted on in Japanese. It was awesome.

For now the meeting place is Pioneer Square and we're meeting at 11 am. Like I said earlier, I want to scope out downtown and look for some places to take pics. I'm also trying to find out if the roof of the hotel is open to the public, but I doubt it is.

I'm going to...I got the "Go pieces" today (they're little buttons that I'll be cutting off the backs of and they looks like Go pieces, so I didn't have to buy an entire game set).

So you guys, I was thinking that maybe instead of Pioneer Square, we could meet in the skybridge between the two Pioneer Place buildings. It'd be a really cool spot for shots while we wait for everyone! Then we could either stay there or move on to a better location. Plus it's covered, so we'll be dry if it rains.

If we're talking about cosplay progress, I just got the fur for my coat today as well, and I already have a wig, so I pretty much am done except for the game board. (Izaya is such an easy cosplay...XD I've also done Shizuo, and I'll be debuting Shinra this month, but nonetheless DRR for the most part has somewhat easy cosplays.)

DRRR is fairly easy, although there are small details that are important.
A few days ago my friends and I were talking about how DRRR cosplays might become the new Death Note cosplays DD: I really hope that isn't the case.

Curious, is there any way you can dye fur or stain it a certain color? I know Izaya's fur on his coat is a bit darker than white, kinda an off-white/tan, although I've seen people do it with white and it looks fine too...I'm kinda afraid of it losing its fluffiness if I do...

As far as I know (don't quote me, please!), you can dye fur. I know one of my friends dyed fur fabric for a costume, I can ask her what the process is. It might be different since it was shorter fur than jacket trim.

My suggestion would be trying a little dye on a piece of scrap fur that isn't on the jacket. That way you can see how it turns out, and if you like it, you can dye the rest of it too.

So I decided to go along with the tea dying idea on my coat since it looked nice on the test fabric. You can find new pics (five at the top) here: http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n257/Dietrich_san/Izaya%20Preview/

It's unfortunately a little hard to tell in pictures, but in real life I can see the difference. It feels more wool-like (looks more like actual wool/fur which is cool), and is a darker color, almost an off-white yellowish color, and I like it a lot. It also smells like hazelnut chocolate tea. =D

If anyone decides to do this method, just know that when it dries, it's a much lighter color than when it was wet. Also, try to "blend" blotches together with less-colored areas near it to get a more even color by "smooshing" them together with your fingers. It turns out nice in the end.

Tomorrow I'm going to Joann's to get stuff for DWC, but since there's a 99 cent sale on Butterick patterns all week, I'm going to buy my blazer pattern too! Eee I'm so excited, but also a bit scared. Never made a jacket before!

I just remade the skirt I'm using for Anri, but I think I did the pleats wrong so I have to remake it again :/
Although, in somewhat good news, my grandma (who said she'd help me make the blazer) instead offered to buy me the blazer. I found one website that actually sold women's blazers in the right aqua blue color, but I'm checking the website now and it looks like they don't have any in that color anymore. If anything, I could just dye a white blazer, but I really want to make sure I get the right color. I've seen a lot of people mess up the colors of Anri's uniform and I want to get it right.

So, (last minute, I know) I am dropping one of my cosplays, and I am going to do Kida instead. I got really excited about it, and Kida will be cheaper than the other one xD Therefore...you have another Kida : D
