Our at-con photoshoot is planned for Monday (Day 3/last day of con) at 11 am. We'll be meeting at Pioneer Square by Starbucks and possibly moving somewhere else after we all meet up.

Since the original thread hasn't been updated in a while, here's a new one.

I'm also thinking of wearing Anri on prereg day, but maybe one of her casual outfits if I'm lazy haha.

Okay, postan to gauge where/when exactly we should have our shoot. I was thinking we could meet up in an easy place, like Pioneer Square (although it might be a bit crowded since everyone and their mom seems to be meeting there) and then head to a different location for pictures.
I don't know my way around downtown too well, but I'm thinking I should scope the area out to try to find a really cool area for pictures. Somewhere with really modern buildings, like high-tech Tokyo.

In the mean time, what time should we meet? I'm thinking around 1pm, does that work for people?

We could probably just start somewhere that everyone knows of, and then migrate somewhere else like you said.
The inside of the hotel is always super crowded, so we should try to avoid that..I guess Pioneer Square would be a good place since it's really easy to find

the only other thing I can think of would be the parking garage.
We did that for one of the Soul Eater shoots and it looked pretty sweet! I think the all the cement and random road marking plus the lighting would look really cool for DRRR! (it kind of looks like the meeting place of the Yellow Scarves)

Well they already announced that they were doing a second season, but I've heard conflicting things about whether or not the second half of the season is considered the second season- the area where the OP and ED ended; the second arc.
But regardless, I hope they continue the series! It is based on a series of light novels, and not everything from the novels happened in the anime, so there is stuff they can include.

oh, and on a cosplay related note: I AM HAVING SERIOUS COMMITMENT ISSUES WITH CUTTING MY HAIR FOR RIO!! I'm going to do it. My hair needs a trim. But I've never had it this long before so it makes me a little sad to cut it, but then I'm relived when I realize that it will be back by the time I start college. WOO!

Oh man same. I decided to man up and cut my hair for Anri since my hair is too long and thick to get under a short wig for Meiko, and I'm having second thoughts. I've been growing my hair out since the end of freshman year, and it's super long now.
But yeah I keep telling myself that I have my whole life to grow it out again, and plus if it's short I can wear pretty casual wigs...

I agree, plus apparently there are characters in the novels that don't even show up in the anime.

I have some layers, but my hair is so ridiculously thick that it doesn't matter. I think it's the longest I've ever had it, too.

As of today, I now have hair that's about Anri's length. This is pretty exciting, one of my friends has hair similar to this and she can put on a wig easily but just putting her hair into a few ponytails. Maybe I'll actually be able to wear wigs now!

yeah and it's not like I'm cutting mine super short, it's going back to about the length I had it at the beginning of that last school year. So I know it'll all be back by this time next summer haha

I'm gonna start working on rio next month, I just need to make the jacket, dye my shirt and maybe make a purse? I have everything else. I just hope I can tone up my legs enough to wear short shorts! (I have a small frame, but my thighs are pretty big)

Oh man I need to really step up my working out. I worked out a few days ago, and then two days ago I walked all over Portland and got a crazy workout. Today I had a big photoshoot in central Oregon, but I could probably fit a workout in before I go to bed.
But on Wednesday I'm leaving for vacation for a week... I can probably take long walks by myself, but that's sometimes boring >:

In actual DRRR cosplay news, my grandma agreed to help me sew my Anri jacket, but we're not going to do it until August, and hopefully by then I'll have lost enough inches on my waist and I'll have my special Anri bra and we can fit it properly. I also need to remake the skirt, but I, again, need to lose inches off my waist first. So for now I can get the shirt (since I'll have to take the waist in anyways to fit her giant boobs) and glasses.

For excersis I just wake up in the morning and the firs thing I do is ride my bike to the beach and back, which can be a good 30-40 min. workout. I used to run, but I'm waiting until July because I'm trying to build up a little endurance with the biking.

And yes, I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!! I love Rio's outfit, it's gonna be a super fun last day of the con!
