Who plays MMORPGS? What kind?

I was just wondering if anyone wants to play PERFECT WORLD with me. It's fun and free.

My G/F & I used to play FFXI...we don't anymore & I have sold all my accounts that I had for it. MMORPG's take up far too much time for me to get sucked into another one.

I used to play Fiesta. Then I got into LVL 20 + and it got totally boring.

I looked up top 10 free mmorpgs on youtube and the guy said in his opinion that PERFECT WORLD is number 3.

If anyone wants to party with me and kill dragons and murder dwarves well...

My name on it is ELDAVOR.

I considered FF14 when it comes out only because I am a fan of the series. But I don't want to get sucked into dedicating all my free time towards it. I'm hoping that they do a 1 month free trial like they did with FFXI so that I can at least see how it is.

It was at first, but I kept playing because I had made several friends there...then after learning A LOT more about the game, I actually found it to be fun. But it is definately one that doesn't start off easy or fun...it just starts to become that way once you know a lot more about the game & have leveled to the higher levels. Meh...I ended up quitting still after YEARS of playing so whatever lol.

Yeah its definitely one of those games you need to have friends with. I really enjoyed playing it and look forward to FF14.

When it comes to MMOs... Name it and I've probably played it. I do my best to play every MMO I can, if even just a free trial, and by now my list is a bit over 200. Yeah, I have way too much time on my hands.

I played The Sims Online for five years, and played Star Wars Galaxies for the same amount (both since launch). TSO is, of course, no longer in service and I quit SWG a little while ago.
I played Auto Assault for over a year (two years if you include beta) but that is also now no longer running. Earth & Beyond was another year, City of Heroes for two years, Universal Century.net Gundam Online for almost two years, Tabula Rasa for almost a year, Pirates of the Burning Sea was around two years (including beta), Champions Online for six months... These aren't in any order.

I don't play any MMOs currently. I have yet to find anything that keeps me interested. I'm beta testing a few but I probably wont stick with them when they launch (especially LEGO Universe).
I play some free-to-play MMOs off and on... Mabinogi, Drift City, Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online, AirRivals, Atlantica, FreeRealms, Holic, Fiesta, Dragonica, Project of Planets, Dream of Mirror Online, Perfect World, Luna... Though I haven't played any of these for a little while...

I'm really looking forward to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Finally, an MMO that looks decent!

There are a bunch of nice games to play for a week or month, depending on how much you play, then move on because it gets too boring.  There are not any new good games out there right now that you could enjoy for much longer then that.  Some of the new ones you have to pay for look alright, but they are not worth paying for it to only play a month tops before you are tired of it.  Like it was said before.  None of the games coming out have any concept of play.  Its the same old thing, you might as well not even be playing an mmorpg.  Go play starcraft2 for a while.

You know, it's funny, but every time I see "MMORPG" I think of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
