No, the official Japanese is indeed Aerith. Her name is a japanese transilliteration of the word "Earth", which is japanese is Earisu, and translated back was SUPPOSED to be Aerith. The Japanese don't have a 'th' sound in their language, and replace it with 'su' instead. Aeris is translation fail from the original game, which is why in every FFVII she's appeared in since has listed her as "Aerith". There are so many translation fails and typos in FFVII it's almost sad xD Like Jenova's only line in the entire franchise being "Beacause Cloud, you are a puppet." Wow Squeenix, wow. xD

I hate some english pronunciations of names like tidus/titus an a few others I swear I heard someone call Kairi 'Carrie'

the correct pronounciation is "Air-ith" xD

I think the only character I consistantly pronounce wrong (because that's how I learned it) is Zidane. I seem to be the only one who's always pronounced Tidus "Tee-dus" o-o

Hey guys, looks like I won't be able to make it to the first meet up after all. My parents and I have been getting into a lot of fights lately, and they ended up taking my phone and my car away from me. Well finally they came to an end, because they kicked me out of the house.

I finally got a place to stay for a while though with one of my friends and have a nice job lining up for me, so things are at least improving.

july 24th (its a saturday) will be our beach picnic.

HEY edited the first post about julys picnic. i still plan to hopefully go to the coast with a few friends but a place has yet to be decied and many others cant go for various reasons
