I live in the SE area and am both fan and cosplayer. I live on powell blvd near the gresham border. I have a part time job so I don't have a whole lot of time to meet up with people, but I love to hangout and meet new people.

Just so you guys know I live on Clinton st. just off 157th and Division. We should have a central place to meet such as say the Green line MAX stop at Clackamas. (Tri-Met's decision to create that line was a stroke of genius.)

Hey...

New to this.  I lurk sometimes.  I'm in SE, not anime obsessed, but a fan.  Want to try cosplay, but I'm nervous about it, heh.  My friend has convinced me to go to Kcon with him this year though, and he's dressing me up, so I'm pretty stoked.  We're also old(er...late 20s/early 30s).  I'm more into Japanese pop culture stuff as a whole than just anime/manga, but I like it all. :)

I live in the Hawthorne/Belmont area and my friend is just over by PSU (not SE, but not far!)

East Port Plaza is that the place across the street from Clackmas or someplace else. I ask because lets just say because of my visual impairment my transportation is somewhat...limited.

I agree we should try to meet before Kumoricon and talk about well whatever. And as for Eastport Plaza I think there's a bus that runs down 82nd and goes right by it.

I'm in Southeast, technically I'm not. (Right on the edge of the border in Milwaukie, but I say I'm in PDX anyway.) It'd definitely be cool to have a meetup.

Attention all Kumoricon forum goers here in Southeast. I'd planning a meet up sometime next weeki at Eastport Plaza near the bus stop. From there we decide where we weant to go and chat and share opur love of anime. Since I'm an adult I guess that makes me a chaporone as well as the instigator of this meet-up.

Okay folks here's the scoop. We'll meet up in front of the bus stop closest to Eastport Plaza. From there we can decide where we want to go and do. As an adult I will chaporone. Anyone 21 and over is also considered a chaporone,. I'd say let's meet up say Wedsday some time around say 12 p.m. does anyone have a problem with that? If so i can always treschedule. J8ust let me know on this thread.

Saturday may work, it may not. My suggestion is to bus over to Fubonn, which isn't too terribly far away from there. It's a cool Asian market, mostly Vietnamese and Chinese, but still fun, and there's a Japanese restaurant there if people feel up to that.

You can come in either street clothes or cosplay and folks let's do our best to set all the drama and stuff aside and have a good long chill session.

Southeast Portland anime fans LEND ME YOUR EARS!!! We will meet up at the 72 bus stop nearest Eastport Plaza and Holgate. From there we can decide where to go. All those 21 and over shall be considered chaporones. Oh and folks just so you know I'll be wearing my NAPA auto-parts caps. And when you spot me I strongly recommend coming closer as because of nmy visual impairment distance vision is not my strong suit.

Bringing money along would be a wise idea, we never know what we might run into, or we might decide to take the Green line MAX somewhere. And you can come in cosplay or as yourselves it's cosplay optional.

It all depends on my work schedule.
