No, I'm not spamming the board out of revenge.....

So with the July meeting approaching in less than two weeks, I felt it wise to start planning for our get together. another reason I thought I'd bring it up is that I was the only Pocky Club rep at the last meeting. *sob* :cry:

Anyway, since this meeting is goingto be at the hotel anyway, how about we all meet up for lunch in the Lloyd Center Food Court before the meeting? Say around, 11:00? That will give us all an hour to arrive and eat before we get down to business and then go to the "pre-arranged meeting room" at the Double Tree.

I know a lot of you live outside the Portland area but that's OK. A good 60% of us are up here and currently I've heard no excuses as to why you shouldn't be there. Especially from Luana-Neko and Ronime :wink: .

So how does that sound? 11:00am at Lloyd Center food Court. Bring pictures of your costumes if they're done. If not then make sure I have pictures of the characters for our pamphlets. If I have a Pocky Club logo by then (see my thread in Get Involved) I'll probably have forms for your parents/guardians. I want all my club members to be legally protected, including myself.

Megan and Lauren are comming with me, and my dad is driving us up there, so I dunno what to say to him to make him get us up there an hour early, on a Saturday no less. xDD "Hey dad can be be there an hour early to discuss chocolate covered biscit sticks and hugging strangers?"

If you send me an offical looking statement in a PM I bet I could convince him. But I need your help! : D

Don't worry guys, I don't have my costume done either. We should pick up some emergency cat ears so that everybody will have something to wear in case our costumes don't get finished. Anyone know a good place for those?

I shall be there ^_^ ! I have pics from previous cons for my Sango and Kotoko costumes, but my Mya costume hasnt even gotten started and there's a chance it wont be done. It SHOULD be done in time, but I can't guarantee it yet. Here's the pics tho:

It's Saturday the 16th (Yeah, the day the Harry Potter book comes out, but I'll already have it.

). The acctual Kumori Con meeting starts at 12 in the Double Tree Center Hotel and Meeting Center.

Talking of that, is there any specific room we're supposed to go to? o_o;

The Pocky Club meeting starts at 11 in Lloyd Center Food Court...

Should we all meet outside or in some distinct point? We all don't know what we look like, so it could be confusing.

No, Both meetings don't intersect. The Pocky Club meeting is an hour before the Kumori Con Meeting. It ends at 12, and we can all head over to the Hotel toth eK-con Meeting.

Hey, three people already have said that they'll be there for sure (me, Ron, and Tom), so that's already better than last time's turnout. Then we've got a lot of maybes, so I'd say we should have a fair few.

I haven't been on the forums a bit. All the answers given by the other club members were correct though.

Pocky club meeting starts on Saturday the 16th, 11 AM in the Food Court of Lloyd Center.

The July Kumoricon meeting is the same day at 12 PM in the Doubletree across the street.

I cannot guarantee that the Pocky Club meeting will only last an hour. The Kumoricon meeting will be going for PLENTY longer so we'll have a lot of time to head over there.

If you have a costume ready, go ahead and wear it if you want. If you don't want to wear it but have a picture of it (or the character it's based on) then bring the picture. Remember, you don't have to cosplay unless you're doing deliveries. We'll come up with something for plain-clothes Escorts.

I think that we should meet up at the tables on the bridge nearest to the skating rink. I'll put a pocky box on my table.

I will arrange another Pocky Club meeting in August but I don't know when. I need to find out what is going to go on with the pre-con volunteering, as in bag stuffing party and set up day/times.

I'll try and be on the forums more this week to answer any more questions.

I found the page I was looking for, in my old 'Free Pocky?!' thread, and it's a giant gift pack of Pocky, 6 kinds for 10 bucks, or 12 kinds for 20, along with a bunch of other flavors.

I will have printouts at the convention and at the meeting Saturday.

Note, this form is not necesary for attending the convention. these forms will make things easier for us to justify you being off the premises if the club goes over to the mall or out after dark. Also if you can't find a "guardian" for the convention these forms may help, since a lot of our non-forum members are over 18. This could allow a parent to take a break ove at the mall or hang out in the hotel room.

We'll be handing out boxes of Pocky. Though I might choose the smaller boxes of the regular flavor to cut costs.

I'm trying to come up with a way for people to preorder Pocky Deliveries before the convention so we can suprise people when they arrive (club members permitting). I want to get a donation method created frist though. I'll check my paypal account....
