Hello folks. I would like to get a small photoshoot together for Scott Pilgrim.

We have all the main characters of the book! I'm so excited! 14 people is a lot though and I know before that one of the main photographers says it's harder to work with such big groups. So no more people jumping in the group now. If someone drops out I'll make a post saying who we need but I think we are golden at this point.

Please make sure if you haven't read or finished the comic yet, that you do so before con. I'd like for everyone to know the story so we can get some really sweet ass photos!

Meetup so far is...
Day 0
Meet at Pioneer Square and then move around, we are probably going to take pictures there, then move to another sitting area with good scenary a block away, and we will definitely hit up a coffee shop.

I think to enhance the Cosplays we should use some make-up to get us closer to Bryan Lee O'malley's art. I'm thinking lots-o-eye liner!

ill manage with the comic books but..I just want to get his hair color right. Is it more of a dirty blond or light brown?

And that's all he has on his site. I think light blond shows up more then brown then. Also Knives starts dating Neil because he looks like Scott yeah? Light blond would be closer to Scott's orange-ish hair.

Hahahaha! Awesome!!! Is that your full costume or are you just showing off the wig and sweatbands?

This was this last progress picture I took for Ramona. Since then I've gotten gloves and some leather for her necklace. I ordered purple tights last night and I'm going to order the studded belt in the next few days. I'll be making the other belt this weekend :3

KNIVES HERE, READY FOR DRUNK MAKING OUT AT ANY TIME!!!

I...can't really think of any special outfits she has, so I'll just dye my hair and get her ravenclaw scarf/restofoutfit from where she first attacks Ramona probably. Maybe in the last book (COMING OUT IN JULY SO EXCITED) she'll have some sort of new special outfit that I can don. We'll see though, I kind of just want to dye my hair like that for the hell of it.

Also half chinese here and i totally look azn when i'm not wearing my glasses so it won't be race fail wheee

I'm getting really pumped for this. It looks like we have all of the main characters if Kameko joins in. I guess I'll put up a little list of other people in case other people wander in here wanting to do stuff :3

Last update on my Ramona cosplay '3' I am going to be buying the stud belt tomorrow and starting to work on the other one as well.

Also @Serika, you are going to AX?

I'm going to be wearing my Ramona there if you are able to pull Knives together.

Just a note, this frame-by-frame thing shows some helpful things about the characters for anyone who hasn't seen it... @boogiepop: I'm planning to! A friend's offered to let me share his AA table, so I'm really...leaning that direction at this point, and I've found cheap air fare.. However, it's a definite no unless I can get a roommate situation sorted out, and the girl I was leaning on has been a little bit...not all there, so it's a little messy at this point. (UM, UM, IF IT'S JUST YOU AND YOUR BF OR ONE OTHER PERSON YOU COULD MAYBE SHARE A ROOM WITH ME AND MY OTHER FRIEND COUGHHHH) If I were able to go, Knives might be an excellent simple cosplay to bring along!

God that trailer breakdown makes me more excited for the movie! It's nice to see how well they are keeping to the comic.
Also the bag thing is pretty god damn cute. Though now I'm not sure what color to make the star on my bag since the base of the bag is already blue >: I always just assumed it was pink like the trim.

Btw, the star on Ramona's bag is pink in every single picture I've seen.

In the movie trailer, it looks blonde... So, combining all three, more orangey lies in the middle so I'd probably go with that.

Yeah, I saw that....and it took me a minute to realize who the heck it was but on the comic book covers it's more of a reddish brown, so I may just go with that.

@Serika- Indeed. But, even though the movie looks cool, I've been kinda leaving it out for colors and stuff. Seems...a little weird for some reason.

@Kameko- Yeah, I think the majority of the art I have has her her as a red brown too. I think either choice will look fine though, as long as you are ginger-y.

@TOTT- Sweet! Welcome to the group dude! Each new person is making me more excited to finish my costume.

I also think for our little shoot thing we need to all get coffee somewhere. Just because it would fit so well
