Narutard coming to a cosplay-drama near you! (no seriously!)

LMAO!  I think it's funny as hell!  Hey, we've all seen the crap-tastic cosplay and thought about it.  At least she came out and tried to do something productive to help out!  Like DON'T MAKE A COSTUME LIKE THIS.

Beautiful!

I admit, i've done some of those things, like Hot glue and bad seams, but it's how we all start out!  I think she was just feeling silly and that's fine with me!  I dunno why people got all offended about it.

@MistressLegato
After reading some of the forum from that link, I sounds like people thought she (who is considered as or considers her as an elitist, not sure) was saying something along the lines of "Look at me, I'm a n00b.  All n00bs wear costumes like this."

Whether or not those were her views I don't know since I didn't catch the full story.

@Negima

I dunno, it just seemed like they were AWFULLY uptight about it!  She seemed to be having fun!  So why not, you know?  And I don't think it's aimed at all n00bs 'cuz I never had a costume that looked that bad XD

BUT I must say the No wig thing is soooo not true!  A lot of times people get wigs and they look REALLY stupid!   i always just do the hair that I have!  Dye, cut, style, it's perfect!

I actually delved into that link farm (IE, the forums), and it seems that most of the fuss was over an active dislike between that cosplayer (or rather, the one who made her costume and posted the pic) and another cosplayer.

Seemed like way too much drama.  But the actual costume was amusing.  I think it was more poking fun at the "elitist" cosplayers who think everything has to be perfect for a costume to be worth anything than anything else.

It's just someone having some good fun. I do it all the time when my friends are around. Though we don't break out the camera, we still act like goofs. Being silly is great!
