I'll tell you the story...
I had just bought the first 4 books, and I was super happy beacuse it looked really good. AND IT WAS. So I give it to Megan to read, no problem! Lauren, No problem! Leslie, no problem!
Then it came... Skipping in her green hello kitty shirt. Aislyn. D: I let her barrow the first two books beacuse damn it, she reads very slow. It'll take her 2 weeks to finish a manga, but she's drawing every other two seconds, so it's okay... She goes home and she reads part of the first one, it's so good that she can't put it down and she brings it to the dinner table. -sigh- You know, when you have protective parents that don't let you get anything over 13/14+, then you shouldn't be reading 16+ books. And don't read manga while your eating. D: It dosn't look good when you've got spehgetti sauce all over Chii. >__>
So Asilyn's Step-dad tells her to put it down and eat, twice. Yet Aislyn keeps reading.
Joe takes it away and you know what? .--. He dosn't like what he sees. OMGZ. ROUND JIGGLY THINGS. D: Like we've never seen them ever before. >_> Our poor virgin eyes...
So he takes both of them away, and puts them in his room for atleast 2 or 3 months. So I go over to Aislyns for a sleepover, and sometime during thoes 2/3 months, she cracked and told Joe it was my manga. When my Mum comes to pick me up he hands them to her, and tells her about the things inside.
At this point I'm defeding my point by saying how it's just drawings and there are much worse comics out there.
My mum dosn't talk to me on the way back home, but then goes into my room, takes the remaining two Love Hina books, thorws them in the Garbage, then pours old Mac 'N Cheese on them, beacuse she knows I hate the stuff and would never touch it.
They still check my manga for bad 'things' but I keep thoes ones (Seven of Seven, Physic Academy) ones under my bed, and when I can, I try to go in Borders alone.
