Go see it. Far superior to the previous Batman movies. Finally DC has a truly competitive movie series going for it in Hollywood's "comic and fantasy" era.

Also, Harry Potter 4 comes out in November. That may mean the next book will also be out in December. Weeeee!

Uhhh... book 6?
It's out in July.

If Book 7 came out in December?
Um, I'm imagining madness and riots in the streets.

Another movie to add to the list of "movies to watch when I return home."

I have a lot on the list already.

That might work.............. if they were a sci-fi convention, that is. ;)

Yes, I've heard from multiple sources now that Batman Begins owns. I will definitely be seeing this one, because I thought the Tim Burton Batman movies were awesome enough on their own, so hearing that this one is supposed to be even better certainly makes me happy. 8)

I can only hope that someday they will bring Tommy Lee Jones back to play Two-Face... but the right way, this time. :(

It's May 26, 2006
Apparently my mind thought Apriil was the fifth month for a moment there.

I think they need to give Billie Dee Williams a call, he was Dent in the 1989 Batman and I think he could still do it. Someone on LJ complained about the BF Tw- Face, here's their paraphrase...

"It was as if half of [Billie dee's] face was horribly disfigured and half was horribly Tommy Lee Jones."

My favorite character in the new film was Gordon. He was more heroic in some ways because he's just the good cop trying to do his job.

I knew the movie would rock as soon as I heard Christian Bale was Batman.

I loved his acting in American Psycho, and the martial arts he uses in Equalibrium showed me he would be good for the role.

Awesome movie, and I hope they make another one, with Bale on as Bruce.

I'd personally like to forget the other movies. Keatan did ok, but he didn't cut it. Bruce Wayne, at that time, was supposed to be a young man just then becoming who he was. Keaton looked to be in his thirties.

Keaton didn't do it for me. Kilmer was more believeable. And Clooney.....well, I just don't like Clooney, as Batman. In Ocean's 11 (and 12) he was awesome.

Christian Bale, although in his early thirties, has the look that says Batman, and he makes it work, amazingly well. Cillian Murphey was amazing as Crane/Scarecrow. I also enjoyed seeing Liam Neeson, Ken Watanabe, Rutger Hauer, and Morgan Freeman. Katie Holmes...well, shes Katie Holmes, I wasn't expecting much from her to begin with. I LOVED the slaps she gave though. Out of nowhere too, LOL.

I saw Batman Begins on June 15th, awesome B-day gift. ^_^

I've seen the other Batman movies. I wasn't that entertianed by them. But, when I was seeing Batman Begins, I barely moved throughout the entire movie.

I thought that Katie Holms was looked too young for her role. If they had gotten someone a bit older looking, the movie would be great. But, there really isn't anything that we can do. We're not the casting directors.
