Video Game Tips
« on: December 27, 2009, 07:13:59 pm »
Hey there folks. I've just returned already I've got a new topic. Okay folks we all have our favorite video games console or PC. But sometimes there are certain points that really just irk us. Well as a gesture of good faith, The Kumoricon staff willing, I've created this thread where people can post tips on their favorite games and get help from others on this site in getting the answers they need. Sometimes to paraphrase Ringo Starr you just have to "Get by with a little help from your friends". And don't be afraid to post any game questions here as well.

Okay this tip is for Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. When you play the Stronghold characters these skills will turn you into a powerful wrecking machine. Blood Rage: IN memory of our  fathers. Leadership Recruitment (When you're ina  city at the beginning of the next week the number of creatures you can get for your armies increses.) Blood Elation (Must have in Memory of our fathers.) This gives your creatures extra blood rage points making them strong and able to do more damage. War machines: Ballista and triple shot Attack: Archery and Flaming arrow (Archery makes it so your shooters (Ballista and shooting monsters) do more damage) Flaming arrows makes it so your Ballista does extra fire damage to a target (Mix this with triple shot and you can do some serious hurt to your opponent armies and war machines.) I hope this helps.

Okay before I let this thread go I have a question of my own. I have The Sims 2 and am having some difficulty preparing Mac and Cheese, Cereal, Pancakes, Lunchmeat Sandwiches, and just about everything accept T.V. Dinners and Toaster Pastries. What items are required and what skill Level in cooking is required? And with that being said tipsters and questioners READY...GO!!!

Well all opinions are welcome but still is there anyone out there who might have an answer for my SIms 2 question. I'd really appreciate it.

Ummmm.. I believe on any Sims it is supposed to tell you which skill LVL allows you to do things. Somewhere in some kind of options menu.

I haven't played Sims in a while sooo...

My tips:

If you have a PSP, play MHFU or I don't care.

If you playlo Halo, being able to beat your friends doesn't make you good.  Being able to beat people who are good makes you good.

If you're using a kart in Mario Kart Wii, you're not winning.

That said, don't play Mario Kart Wii if you care about winning.

There are better games out there that you've never played.

Just because Koreans take it seriously doesn't mean it's good.

If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right.

If you want specific advice regarding gameplay for any vaguely popular game, just go to GameFAQ's.  The community's larger, more knowledgeable, and set up specifically to tailor to such needs.

I'll post more as I think of them. Here are a few for starters.

The cake is a Lie.

Always remember to throw Flashbangs.

Harrier > Chopper Gunner > Tactical Nuke.

In initial D 4 when you go through a series of hairpins you don't need to brake after the first one.

The princess is in another Castle.

You run faster while Holding the Knife.

If you don't burn that zombie it will come back later as a Crimson Head.

If you kill that hooker you can get your money back.

Try Harder.

if you STILL cant beat a boss that you've been stuck on for the past however many hours, put on a Kisuke Urahara hat and you'll win! [it seriously works! its gotten me through some binds!]
