Hello everyone!

This is a thread for talking about planning and discussing Good Omens Cosplay. Let’s see if we can get a group together!

For any of you who stumble upon this and haven’t read/don’t know what Good Omens is: It’s a wonderfully hilarious book by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Go check it out!

Characters we have cosplayers for:

Aziraphale: Pen_Zen (Ash)
Crowley: Auricle (Britany)
Adam: Felix
Pepper: Malaria (Valeria)
Pollution or Famine: Hashi
Pollution or Famine: Yagi (Just tell me when you guys make a decision so I can update the list.)
War: Jaqua
Anathema: Miria (?)

I love that you made a thread for this XD; though I have no idea when we will cosplay it, we should figure that out...

For now, I'm really considering Pollution..like 90% sure on that haha

This is one of those times, I say to myself; 'Why must you fill up your cosplays lists SO fast!?'

If I wasn't already full for 2010 and 2011, I would totally join in with this cosplay!

I mean, cosplaying as Famine, would be a lot of fun~ =O
Oh well! Maybe some other time... When I actually HAVE the time and money for it.

I haven't actually read Good Omens in forever. -puts it on the to-do list-
I seem to remember one of the Them was an awkward nerd ginger kid. I'd totally do that. XD

Adam is so excellent, he's like my favorite character. Behind Crowley. And Aziraphale. It's a really simply cosplay really, you'd just have to... Make your hair short, blonde and curly, either via wig or magical hair styling, and then wear a t-shirt, old jeans, and trainers. All the while looking like a ten(?)-year-old boy (I forget how old Adam is sldkfjsd). So short is A-OK MAN.

I'll lend you the book. It's in awful condition so you don't need to worry about being careful with it, either!

THE BOOK IS SO GOOD. THE BEST PART IS WHEN CROWLEY AND AZIRAPHALE GET DRUNK AND TALK ABOUT DOLPHINS AND WHALES. AND BRAINS.

Definitely agree though, best part of the book XD

I never would have known so many liked GO on here either! haha It seriously made me spazz with happiness when we started planning cosplays...

Good Omens was recommended to me by my History teacher my freshman year of high school,and Ive been addicted to that book since XD; ironically, I got that same teacher to read Hetalia.

OKAY.

I dont know who knows of this but there was a screenplay written by Gaiman and Pratchett for the Good Omens movie. But they wrote it as an AU thing.

I have absolutely no acting skills, but it would be amazing to act it out, even if only part of it like you said.

Ah, and correction, its written just by Gaiman, as like a response to what the producer wanted the movie to be XD so its like.. a parody thing. Its hilarious though. And if the download stops/is cancelled , I can try uploading it for people too, if they miss the chance or are curious~

XD oh..you have to unzip it. Its a really large folder, so I couldnt upload it unless I zipped it... the only other way would be to upload each individual page >>;

I've unzipped things before. Why can't I do it this time? I tried right-clicking, but I can't find a way to unzip it. Usually there's a decompress option...

Are you using Windows Vista or 7? 'Cause those should let you view without unzipping. You just have to click the folder.
