I had fun while it lasted, but due to certain people's opinions of me, i won't be seeing any of you again.
i might be going to kumoricon next year, and i might be hosting my panel
but don't count on me showing anything but hostility towards you
i'm sick of the bull**** and people that think i'm insulting them or trying to hurt them
i'm just being me, and if you don't like it, that's too damn bad for you
if you don't understand what i'm saying, then this message is not aimed at you
i don't have anything against anybody, so go ahead and report me, do what you will
i'll still be alive, doing what i please and enjoying the life i have while i still can

yeah, the thing is, the 3 that were on the dancefloor the most (me, will, and jeremiah) go to raves, and we see some of the worst dancers you could ever see. The thing is, even if you are a bad dancer, the fact that you are dancing is what makes it awesome! We don't care how good or bad you are, or what style you abide to, all we care about is that you move to the music. So if you are just embarrassed to dance, next time, don't worry about it, because nobody cares. Dancing is about freedom, and expression, so just go for it. It really is a blast once you get into it.

As for age, I am 17, so im not much older than you (though most people think i am much older). Don't feel left out, or like you have to leave, just because people are a bit older than you. We aren't going to leave you out of the festivities for any reason. Just enjoy yourself and have fun. Talk, dance, hang out, etc. Don't let awkwardness be the reason you don't have any fun.

EDIT: im sure you did have fun, but you probably would have had a lot more fun if you had just let loose a little bit xD

Even though I didn't make the dance, I had fun talking to Vicki (Viki...? O.o) at Shari's...
Molly and I felt a little left out though because we weren't at the dance and didn't feel wanted to be there... >.> We also both have issues with meeting new people right off the bat and we aren't very loud when we don't know what's going on. But it was nice to see you guys and to meet your twin, Cthu~<3

I'm sorry you didn't feel welcome.
Everyone was happy that we had more people, and i assure you, you weren't unwanted. We were a little bit distracted, as everyone else had already met, and of course, we had never been introduced to you, which made it a bit awkward, but if it had been under different circumstances, im sure it would have been different.

I'm sorry that you felt that way, we really did enjoy having you there!

I prefer that nobody gets left out of festivities, and nobody feels left out, because that creates awkward tension, and less desire to come to the next meetup/party/whatever.

So if you are ever at one of these meetups, and you feel left out, speak up.

im sure you realize that there wasn't a lot of time to plan. The idea of a dance was brought in because we didn't have enough time to plan other things. If i plan another party, we will be doing more than just dancing. there will be a time, when we will have a dance portion of it, but i will try to keep it a bit more diverse.

yeah, its a little bit wierd about you being the one she was talking about, but i understand it now xD.
overall, it was pretty fun. I'm upset that people felt left out, but we didn't have a lot of time to plan, so it was hard to make it to everyones liking. im hoping that we can do more with the next one.

this was the case for me too.
with the change of location, i was ready to not have enough people there to have a decent dance, but it seemed quite the opposite.
I felt kind of bad though because i kept having to tell people not to do things, and it felt like people were starting to get upset at me about it, but i was just doing what i had to do.

other than that, i had a great time, and was really surprised with last minute people.
i must have gotten about a thousand text messages that night asking me what the address etc was.

yeah, the BIG LAME CHURCH.

they are only so much bigger because they are on the corner.
if MHCC was on the corner, it would be about 10 times as popular as that other church because the people at MHCC are super nice.
Not that it matters though, because MHCC is still cooler.
