This also been postponed but if you want to go still some of us are still planing on it but spaces are limited If we have more drivers more can come

So I did this last year and I was asked by a lot of people to do it again. So I am getting a head start on it. So maybe we could even do this during Spring Break or just keep it after the last day of school....

March 20, 2010

~Meet up and times~
Peterkort Shopping Center at 8:50 to let me know you are there then we leave at 9:15 at latest.... SUNSET Transit peeps be at Transit by 8:35- 8:40 I am leaving there at 8:42

On the way home, we will go to the DQ or Camp 18 (really good photo shoots)... or both...

PEEPS that are NOT riding in the two main cars and want to get on with some of our fun call me or text me at 503-784-3588 ... And will will let you on to where we are....

*Deadline for signing up* March 15th - I need to make the final list so let me know by then... also I need to make sure we have enough drivers

Well I would vote for spring break. I am planing on a trip to Enchanted Forest for the end of school.

I do too... I just looked at the dates and Mar 22 to Mar 26 is Spring Break for TTSD... and the end of school is June 17 (if no snow closures )

Ok! I do know there are some Private Schools that are different but I do not think we have worry to much about that... but it is the people who are coming from Washington that I am wondering about...

Meet up place will be Peterkort Shopping Center again... it was really nice there

I had 57 signed up last year and 30 people showed up so I hope to get a even better turn out this year

Far from it. It's up near Sunset TC off of Barnes Rd.

Also the end of Spring Break might be something to celebrate for me personally. It's around the time when the pool noodle starts hitting stores again.

I really want to come to this last year. The last one was right before I started using the forums, so I missed it.

I'll need to figure out what days I'm not busy, but I'm going out of town for spring break, for most of it.

Super yes we had a great time last year.... Some people when they left they went to some ones house and watched movies... some went to Camp 18 and fell in and lost flip flops .... I fell asleep in the back of my van with Josh at Dairy Queen on the way home

Yeah, last year was so much fun, and I will totally do it again! And we should do more actually on the beach. We really didn't do much...

I went as a sleepy Sakura... I was suppose to go as Temari but my brother could not come and the Gaara and I did not want to go just the two of us! But this year I will wear something cool...

So SPRING BREAK is the week we have it down to... do you want the first Saturday of it or the last one.... or any day in the middle?

Can we get an address of where it is we are staying, if it's not at some one's beach house. I see a few directions but not vary specific.

Can you update the original post when you get new info, I see a few developments but its way easier if new info is changed up top so people don't have to dig through the whole thread.

Maybe we could get a list of things we know we will do and other things we might do during the stay.

i was thinking this as well, but then i realized that if the post said nothing about hotels, and staying overnight, we are probably not staying overnight.

Ah okay, so a one day trip, if i missed it being said somewhere whoops. But are yall going to have a bunch of things to do or just decide that morning/when you get there? Beach outings can be great, but I've had some less then exceptional days there too because we ended up doing nothing for whatever reason. Is this area the one near that huge arcade? I know most of the major places have a decent shopping strip too if people want to walk around. We would probably be too late for sand dollar and shell finding, but the time would depend on when the tide is low, I think that's usually morning/night.

Ok last time we left around 9:30... This time if people are up to it I say we leave at 8:30.... Well last year after we got there we meet up at the turn around and then went our own ways this year I hopefully can get people to do Sand Castle.... and other things on the beach as a group...

If you want to plan things go for it but I wouldn't try to keep everyone in a group. I know that I can only hang out with some of the people that show up to these for like five minutes then I need to get away.

Nah, it's a roomy gear. What's painful is when it's the other way around.

If I do get to take the epic van we might have to take the last seat out and put in the one in front of it rather than give you the giant leg room space. I have a feeling we'd need to be taking coolers full of snacks.

I vote that we drive south to Tillamook on the way back so that we can get ice cream at the Tillamook cheese factory. That's the best way to end a trip to the coast!

i will try to help out as much as i can with snacks, gas, etc.

also, plus one was thinking about driving, but i don't think there will be as much of a need with you driving xD

if there is, im sure she will do it, but if no she would want to ride in the epic van.

This is true.
I know plus-one's car will survive for 2 reasons.
1. her current car (her moms car) is awesome, and lives through anything
2. she doesn't actually have a car yet, but is looking to buy one, and most likely won't get one until around the middle to end of winter.

im pretty sure at least one of them will survive.

ALSO One thing love about Seaside there is a ton to do there and it is a great spot to hang out..... I think Tillamook is about 30 miles South of Sea Side... if a group wants to go down then we can talk about it.... but I probably would have to raise the gas money...

Also Nikki r u going to use your 5 seater or bigger one... right now we have 10 and the two of us are the only defiant drivers

The older you get the faster it seems to go, enjoy the slow down. We elders (lol by like 5 years or so) have a hard time getting to watch time, as it is usually throwing us at something needing to be done all day long.
