Special Event Downtown?

Okay, so I was going downtown today for my Cousin's wedding when I saw something that really caught my eye.

I'm not sure exactly where it was, but there was this GIANT mob of people dressed purely in red. The people gathered were also mostly cross-dressing men, there were a few women but not as many. At first I thought it was cosplayers but I know for sure that's not what it is after really thinking about it. They were just standing around talking for a few minutes then all just ran as as a mob down the street. Though they weren't being rude or anything, just really enthusiastic.

I'm really curious about if anyone else saw this, and more importantly if someone can tell me what the event was.

I saw them running across the street from Goose Hollow and then once again near the dorm where my friend lives. They were headed up the street towards the highway the last time I saw them. I was wonder what was happening too. xD

I honestly would have assumed this would be on one of the local news sites by
now... but so far... I'm drawing up blanks... could you give more details on the
people. mostly men you said, and heading from goose hollow? Were they older
or younger folk?

They were adults, like I said there was more men than women and they were wearing long red dresses. Most of them had even stuffed their shirts to look like they had breasts or something.

I thought they were doing an AIDS charity event or something. xD

Most of the people I saw were young people about college age (20-ish).

Well, there's an AIDS walk tomorrow, but I doubt this was it. I wonder what it was about O_o
