OK, I felt that this needed a new thread since the primary has become a bit overrun as of late.

The general Kumoricon meeting is at 12:30 at the Central Library. I would like to make it to the meeting's opening.

This means if we all meet up for lunch beforehand we will have to watch the clock to get to the meeting.

However if we eat after the meeting it may be awhile depending on how much stuff is gone over at the meeting that interests us. I usually leave the meetings around the 2nd hour or earlier.

So I'll put it in the poll here. Please don't vote if you're not coming, and remember, PSL will have more opportunities to meet over the summer.

Where should we eat?
Now there's a lot of different option if we're downtown, espcecially we can freeride the MAX all the way to Lloyd Center.

I think we should actually go all the way to the Lloyd Center food court because even though it may be higher priced, it will be somewhere accessible and easy to find. We can also stop by the con-hotel and gawk at the convention space!

So what does the rest of PSL think?

Hmm I think after but I might be going so I'm going to vote!

I hate watching the clock because when you get a fue people together you start to have fun. And as we all know the more fun you have the faster time flies.

but after the meeting you can have plenty of time to hangout. Also talking over the meeting wail eating some good food sounds like it would be fun and filling

lets eat at someones house!! get home cook meal and everything! LOLX but food court at lloyd works too!!! they have an arcade..but I was there todau an di dont like it...it isnt the acual DDR..-______- so umm..yeah..lets carpool!!!!!!!

So it looks like we'll meet up afterwards.... though I kind of wonder who the other three people are when only two have replied....Odd.

I also don't know how Panda will be getting to the meeting in Portland if he's in Tacoma. I'm riding the bus so that's no help.

The meeting can just be "shown up at".

OK everybody, this Saturday we are meeting at the Library for the meeting and then going over to Lloyd Center for lunch. that is the plan.

In July, we will all meet at the hotel with the regular meeting and then go onto do our own thing. By then I will have the parental permission forms for minors and some other agreements written up. Gotta stay legal.

I think that every member of PSL that can should volunteer for setup or cleanup at the convention to help be on the good side of and "sponsor" Kumoricon.

So, how many of you are actually going to make it to the meeting on Saturday because I'd like to know if it's just going to be me and one other person at lunch.

No offense Panda but everyone else has bailed. It'll be cool to seeyou at the meeting but lunch will be cancelled if there's nobody else.

Neko. Pay attention.

We are talking about this Saturday's meeting. As in, two days away.

Panda can't make it, PIK might be there now, and Mistress Legato will be able to make it. That would be three of us, which is OK I suppose, and still worth doing lunch with.

Please understand that the reason this is such a big deal to me is that if I hang out later in the afternoon I will probably end up at home, but if I don't do anything after the meeting I'll be crashing over at a friend's place, hence the need for more supplies in my bag of holding.

Heh heh. I've got the hotel room worked out (chekc my posts in "Planning your Adventure"), but thanks.

PSL can always use more members, even if you're not actually going to be a delivering glompograms. I'm changing the model of the group so we're more of a club. No sense trying to play at being a business if I'm not willing to treat it like one.

So from now on I'm the club president of PSL. I think I'm also the secretary and treasurer, heh. Though I think head of security is going to be my friend mechalith. He likes that sort of work.

If you're interested in helping come to lunch with us after the meeting, at the very least it'll help me with new ideas.

Not a single person from PSL (soon to be just Pocky Club) showed up to talk to me about the service!

I did get a lot of stuff talked out with the Ops people and former con chairs. Here's the break down.

It is officially not going to be called a glompogram.
We will be delivering Pocky as a public service to people who need it.
Donations to the cause are greatly appreciated but not required.
The escorts will be very specifically asking people if they would mind someone glomping them, there will be no suprises unless the person is on the Glompable List.

During opening day and Friday night there will be Pocky Club members with clipboards taking down names for the Do Not Glomp List (a list of people that are not interested in being suprised or even bothered by us) and the Glompable List (a list of people who do not mind if they are pounced by people during the convention, especially delivery staff).

We are not selling glomps. We are not selling cute girls.
We are offering to give pocky to a friend of yours you think could use cheering up, and we thank you for your donation.

And to all the Pocky Club members. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support. This is gonna take all of us.[/i]

A few of my friends were getting no ideas for costumes so they might all go as Hogwarts students. They just need badges on their robes and I think they'll be great.

We might end up wuth quite a few witches and wizards!
