So, there's no way to make fake chain-mail that actually looks good. Has anyone seen good fake chainmail anywhere that looks nice? if not I'll just have to alter my potential Hetalia costume. (Its my lowest-priority costume, but I'll probably finish it first anyway...)

I agree. Marriage sucks. I don't care for babies, either.

Most of the chain mail is covered by the surcoat anyway, so I could get away with not doing it ... it'd just be really cool if I had it. To be historically accurate and all that.

For Lord of the Rings, they made fake chain mail out of plastic piping thinly sliced, but that'd take so long to do.
