2010 schedule?

We get this question asked every year....

So we're closing in on the final meeting, and I'm hoping that means the schedule'll be released around the 20th-22nd?

It typically comes out two weeks to a week before the con. So hopefully next week.

If we set a date, it will either be artificially in the future to accommodate things taking longer than expected, or it will be too soon, we will end up missing it, and then people will be really upset.

Believe me, if it was done and ready to post, we wouldn't wait for the "date" it was scheduled. It would be up already.

But, to give a rough idea... it is very likely that it will be up before the 20th to 22nd (the date range you were asking about). We are working as fast as possible.

Last year, I believe they wrapped up at around 6.

Most scheduled events finish by 3pm, and some open rooms run until 4:30. Panels and events are also more sparse on that day.

Closing Ceremonies runs until 5pm, and Rant and Rave runs until 6pm (may run over if it takes more time).

I'd recommend staying until after the Rant & Rave.  It's the best time to let the head's of the staffing department know what's going on.  Another option, which I highly recommed to do, is to leave the following day.  It's less of a burden to get home when you have a whole day to work with, but only if you are able to stay in your hotel room (or wherever) for another day.  This is what I did for Anime Evolution.

Oh yes! Stay another night, sooooo much easier. Don't have to miss the last day on the con freaking out about checking out and all that.

We're very close to posting the schedule--there is a greater than 50% chance it will be up sometime Friday, and if not, then very likely Saturday. It will be announced as a news post on the web site when it's posted.
