Right now?
It would take 10-11 hours by plane to get back to the US, then I wait a few months, then a 2 hour drive to the Land of Ports.

I also learned to take a day before and after a convention.  That way, I can ramp up before activities and ramp down after the convention.   For this year, I might extend my travel time to Kumoricon by half a day.  Twelve hours to get to Kumoricon from Seattle?  Hmmmm. x)

The badge numbers go by how early you registered, that's all, waiting in line early has nothing to do with getting badge number 1 ^.^;;

Probably five hours by car from Seattle.  I take the long and scenic route while enjoying the drive.

It'd take anywhere from two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half hours, depending on whether one travels the Coast Starlight #11 or on the Cascades Talgo trains. And that's just station to station. (STATION TO STATION, ready for action! Gotta feel the power inside you!)

After that, it'd be a "Fareless Square" trip of no more than 20 minutes by bus & MAX from Union Station to the con site at the Lloyd Center Doubletree.

Eh well it depends. While I'm riding the max am I wearing my costume and having people stare at me? Then it seems to take oh, about 5 hours. Fun all the same to confuse the people, but the staring can get annoying, especially if you were my friend last year who had some middle aged guy staring down her dress D: But usually it seems to take about anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, not sure what it really is.
